Floortex Desktex Polycarbonate Desk Protector Mat 17" x 22"

I was looking for a cover for my desk, that only covered my desk calendar. I didn't want a lot of overhang, and most of the covers I found weren't the right size. This one fits the top of my desk calendar like a glove! No extra hanging off the sides that my hand might bump into. The material has a slight blur to it, but I can read the calendar perfectly fine. I eat at my desk, and now I can keep my area clean.

I bought this to use when I play the Hero Kids RPG with my children. We print out paper maps for movement in that game, and they kept accidentally sliding them around, knocking down all of the characters and frustrating themselves and one another. This is a perfect solution! The maps stay in place, I can switch them out, and they don't get crumpled or spilled on so I can use them again. The finish is a little bit matte, but it does not impede our ability to see papers below the mat at all. Definitely would purchase again.

The desk mat works pretty well for me. I have a small desk and it allows me to place a calendar, some inspirational notes and reminders between the mat and the desk and I can still see the design in my desk. Somewhere in the reviews or the questions asked, there was an issue about keeping the mat from sliding around. I had the same problem until I found the Scotch Restickable Strips, 1 x 3 Inches, 6 Strips (R101) (available from Amazon). I used two strips and the mat is stable now. Hope this helps, be blessed.

I wanted a desk protector to keep my wooden desk top from getting marked up while writing. I also didn't want to hide the look of the desk underneath a solid mat. This worked great and is made of a heavy material.

Some of the photos make it look like this is really transparent, but the texture on one side makes it more opaque and not transparent, so if you are looking for something that is crystal clear, this is not it. Otherwise, it is a nice enough protector that you can sort of see stuff through.

I bought this mat to help protect my wood desk from being scuffed up from moving my keyboard around. But I found it very useful when I place hot/cold beverages on it too and use it as a coaster. Very easy to maintain and clean and I highly recommend anyone looking for a desk mat to buy this. One gripe I do have is that it is slick back so it does not stay in place. Unlike the picture I do not have my monitor sitting on the desk mat to hold it in place. An easy solution for me was to use double sided transparent tape on the four corners and now it stays in place. I will be buying another one of these mats soon to place on the other side of my sectional desk.

This is an absolutely Wonderful product. So glad I found and purchased it. This product lays flat, much better than the other ones, that I have had over the years. Do not hesitate to purchase this........Thank you, Jimmy
