Firstly, this strap is fantastic. It’s smart, comfortable, strong and the magnet doesn’t slip (something I was concerned might happen) unless you catch your watch on something and yank it, in which case slipping is preferable as it avoids damaging the watch or strap. Having used this I’ve ordered another similar one for my son (who also loves his) and expect never to buy any other watch straps again - if it eventually breaks I will just replace it with the same, but it doesn’t feel like it’ll break easily.However, there’s one important caveat! I noticed after a couple of weeks using it that my analog watch was suddenly several minutes slow, having been fine the day before. I put it right, and the same thing happened a few days later. Eventually we worked out what happened. When I have a bath, I take off my watch and put it on the side. In doing so, sometimes I leave the strap laying on top of the watch face. The magnet is powerful enough that it can actually stop my watch temporarily when it is right on top of the face! The watch restarts immediately I remove the magnet from the watch face, and hence the watch appears to be working fine, but has lost time during the bath! Obviously this is only a problem with watches that have moving hands, not digital watches, once you know it can happen it’s easily avoided, but I thought it worth noting for any other puzzled purchasers who wonder why their watch is suddenly running slow after they leave their watch off for a bit!

It looks great.The tool-free pins are great, very useful if you like to swap watches and straps often.no visible defects or sharp edges.The magnet and rubber grommet provide a for a strong clasping action.Comfortable on the wrist.Maybe I’m a sad act but I love how easy it is to resize thanks to the magnet clasping action. I note other reviews have mentioned the strap coming loose whilst in use; I have a similar experience but only to the extent the strap is slightly looser, and I do not recognise it as a problem.Negatives:The clasp where the magnet is housed has picked up scratching very easy , I think once the surface finish has been removed through west it will look consistent again. Very minor negative.If you have had a mesh strap before this will come as no surprise but they catch fine fibres really easily, so jumpers and the like can get damaged. This is inherent to mesh straps in my experience so I don’t hold it against this strap particularly.For what I paid, less than a fiver , it is easily the best value purchase I’ve made in months and recommend it whole heartedly.I chose the plain steel finish so I cannot attest to the durability of the finish on some of the smoked and coloured straps

This is my second such strap the first one gave 5 years good service until I was hauling heavy cables and it got caught at the watch end and was broken. They work really well and are pretty robust, if I can get 5 years then most folk will be able to.

Let me start by saying that this is relatively inexpensive, it does the job it is intended to do, and is a definite improvement on the silicone watch straps that every manufacturer seems to provide now. I, like many people have to buy replacements because of the irritation caused by the silicone straps.However, there are a couple of issues with this product:The initial issue I encountered was with attaching the strap to the watch, the pins didn't just click into place as with the strap it was replacing, and there is nothing to stop the pins coming out of the slot on this strap. Which as they are essentially springs, means they could go anywhere, and I in fact had a case where I could not find one of the pins until the next day, when I removed the strap from the watch. They do hold once in place, but its a bit of messing about to get there IMO.Next Issue, as another reviewer has stated the metal does catch on some things, its like super strength Velcro whenever it comes into contact with my rug. I have also noticed as mentioned by other reviewers that the magnet could be a bit stronger, because it does come loose after a while. Its not that it has fallen off my wrist, as you can feel it getting loose long before that happens.In conclusion, its not bad or good either...its an inexpensive option for a replacement watch strap that is functional, but having been wearing it for a while now, I think with hindsight I would have spent a bit more on a different one and probably will.One final point, I have noticed that not all the universal watch straps are the same, and that some watch straps will not fit some watches even if both the watch and strap are the same width eg 18mm, 20mm, 22mm. Make sure that the strap and pins are compatible with your watch before buying.

Ein gutes Armband. Es lässt sich leicht anlegen.Und es trägt sich angenehm. Bei meiner SmartWatch gab es jedoch das Problem, daß die Uhr in der Nacht nicht fest am Arm fixiert ist und die Messwerte nicht korrekt sind. Ich habe mir dann noch ein Armband mit fester Schließe gekauft.Habe dieses Armband aber wegen seiner guten Eigenschaften behalten für eine meiner anderen Uhren.

Got to admit I was looking for a cheap band to replace the TP bands the watch came with. Wasn't expecting much for the price but thought I'd give this a try. The quick release pins made it easy to change the band and the magnet seems strong enough to hold the watch on. The entire band is magnetic so it's easy to adjust. Unfortunately that means that it makes my magnetic charging cable a bit harder to use since it tries to stick to the band instead of the watch back. Minor quibble but something I didn't think about when purchasing. By the way, the end of the band slides though a slot next to the retaining pin on the watch and folds over so the magnet can attach to the band. Easy to remove but a little tricky to put back on. Update: I have noticed that band does tend to loosen a little during the day. It's not like its going to fall off but if you're using it on a smartwatch it throw off the readings.
