Much Studier / Stronger than in the Past
I have bought these in the past and while they worked, they were much thinner and over time ripped. These are noticeably thicker / stronger, so on the surface should last longer and be more secure, while still being flexible. Time will tell a better story.

Purchased several of these and found they were breaking in the top corner, called the company, call returned within minutes and they sent replacements within days for the broken ones. Very good company to deal with

They are the official Ram parts, they fit great and are very reasonably priced. I am very happy to be able to get replacements parts for it.

Only reason for the 4 star review is my own fault. I'm quite heavy handed and need to learn that not everything is indestructible. I've torn these several times. i wish they were just a bit more rugged. Good thing is that I can keep reordering them!

Worse than the original.
I installed this to replace the rubber that came with my motorcycle handlebar x-mount. The new rubber is far thicker and closer in size to my phone, so it didn't have to stretch as far as the old one. The rubber that came with the mount, thin and having to stretch very far, lasted for 5 years. This new one that barely had to stretch at all lasted less than 3 weeks of use. Maybe 20 rides, about half an hour each time, and the rubber snapped right through when I went to strap the phone in place. Quality is far worse than in the past, if this is anything to go by.

Holds the phone
Holds my iPhone Pro Max quite well, but buy 2 of them. It eventually will stretch and rip if you use it often in the summer and winter.

Fit like a charm.
I decided to go with the brand name version of the tether. I noticed with the generic ones, the hole in the middle is a little off center. I have the low profile x-grip claw and didn't know how the tether would behave with the generic ones.

Zero stars!!!! Garbage!!! I had one of these break not too long ago, ordered another one recently, used it once and the next time I went to use it, it broke. I won't waste anymore money on Ram products.
