I just ordered 2 more of these. I bought my current pair in spring of 2019. They are simple and elegant. I had placed them in tall planters on either side of the garage door. They survived both below zero temperatures and heavy snow and ice in the winter. They have also survived our hot summers, thunderstorms and one tornado. The tornado was a fluke as it pulled out six of our biggest trees including one close to the planter! No guarantees on surviving a tornado! After having gone through all of this, they still look new. No fading or broken pieces.I relocated the boxwoods to my deck and they are perfect there in other planters. But that left my garage planters empty. I have looked for something to replace the boxwoods and can’t find anything suitable. I even tried to make something, but I can’t even go there! So I gave up looking and bought what had looked the best all along!

Artificial topiaries are a perfect solution for cast iron urns that are subject to rust. Over the decades, it has been a messy occasional chore to clean the rust off my antique cast iron urns, reseal and repaint them ... just to have them rust up again due to watering live plants. Enough of that! These lovely artificial topiaries are here now to beautify the porch and enhance our lives in the long run. The quality of the topiaries is excellent and the fit is perfect too. I topped off the planters with medium size black river rocks and the overall impact is very natural, substantial and welcoming. Invest in these. You won’t be disappointed.

Moved 2 real boxwoods that were struggling in front courtyard pots and replaced with 2 of these. You can't tell they're faux as the trunks add a realistic touch even standing next to them. They also match the remaining front courtyard real boxwoods next to the house. Of course, on very close inspection, you can tell, but these are good quality faux boxwoods, and I would recommend. Hoping they hold up through elements and winter. If so, I'll be purchasing more from this company.

I purchased four of these for my balcony which receives limited sunlight and has no water connection. I am so happy with them. They are variegated in color and have somewhat uneven edges, so very natural looking. They were a little shorter than I had anticipated (I measured wrong) so I had to have them anchored into my planters. Additionally we added lots of flat grey stones for both decoration and to make sure they don't blow away. I have a very windy balcony. I had seen these on a friend's terrace in Manhattan and was immediately smitten with the idea of long-lasting bushes that I didn't have to tend to or constantly replace. I have read that you have to keep yourself from watering them...they look that real...and I think this will turn out to be true.

Despite some reviews that noted the topiaries arrived in a bit of a "scrunched" condition and had to be shaped a bit , mine arrived in perfect shape and are very realistic looking. they are also well weighted and should not be in any danger of toppling in my outside front door planters. My only deduction to the review is the obvious and very awkward and unreal looking stem ( trunk? ) . I feel that I will have to get some moss or artificial greens to place around the base to disguise the only obvious artificial feature. They sit far enough down in my planters that this is not a disqualifying issue for me. My neighbor thinks they look beautiful and is considering them for her planters.

Beginning an avid garden, a member of my home town garden club and my having own interior design business, I typically I’m not in favor of ‘ faux ‘ anything, particularly plants ! Authenticity is paramount in my selections . However to my delight and surprise I resently purchased two faux boxwood topiary plants and am the thrilled to bits ! My challenge was to find something to plant or place in planters under the overhang outside my garage where rain can’t reach. Hence, in my effort I sadly killed several plants. This provoked me to purchase the two faux boxwoods that are simply beautiful ! They are positioned nearby a hedge of ‘ real ‘ boxwoods that flank the front door to my cottage and blend in perfectly! They are simply beautiful, love the variegated leaf ... and they have fooled many the trained eye that have visited my home ! I’ll be back for more ....

Only just okay. For the price, almost $200, the packing was awful. The outer box was heavy but arrived with the top partially open. The biggest flaw however, was the inner packing. The bushes were not individually separated and were put into the box as is, with no protection for the "leaves." They had been strapped in place but the straps were broken. The heavily weighted pots (plastic...one with a big 2" chip in the rim) were on top of the leaf balls so they are no longer round, but crushed and totally misshapen....a complete mishmash. The leaves also seem to fall off easily. It would have been simple to have a separate box surrounding each leaf ball. If I cannot reshape them they will be returned. On a positive note, the pots are really heavy and the color of the "leaves" is quite natural. Just wish they did;'t fall off so easily.

We are replacing four artificial boxwood ball shaped shrubs that “died” in our heat and wind after approximately eight years. These are much more reasonably priced than the first set, and are beautiful. They even seem more realistic because they are not so ultra-groomed that one knows in an instant that they are not real. So these definitely deserve 5 stars for value and appearance. I hope to be able to revisit this review to give high marks for durability once these lovely “plants” have passed that test. I also received a nice thank you for my purchase that I very much appreciated.
