I have a 45 lb high energy pit bull; how long should I expect a 10 lb box to last?

According to the box, they recommend splitting the daily food into two servings, or 2-4 cups DRY per day with 3-6 cups of water.  According to the box, this means one 10 lb box will last 10-20 days.  My dog is around 60 pounds and also active (5 years old) and should get a little more than your dog.  I can't afford those kind of prices, so I halve the amount of Honest Kitchen Force and supplement with Blue Buffalo Wilderness.  So I get 1.5 months out of a box, and more than that from the Blue Buffalo Bag (40 lb.).  Note that I have found Force available $5 cheaper at a local store than on the internet.

Discription says "hand picked produce from all over the globe" . other places it states all usa ingredients. so which to trust?

Hi There, All of our foods are produced right here in the US. While we do  source about 67% of our ingredients from the US, we also use ingredients from around the world. How long will it last for a 12 pound miniature doxie?

I was just there, so go log into the Honest Kitchen.com site and near the top, click on the "Help Center" and then the first choice is "How much to feed".  It references a 7 and 10 pound box (various formulas), the weight of the dog and one column tells you about how long it will last.  This would be a great place for you to start reading, think it will answer your question and more :)   I have used their food for years....really and tried all of them.  My dog as well as other is allergic to chicken, so we stay away from the formulas with that.  It's great food and you won't find a better company with better practices (I really believe that). Does the heat of summer effect the shelf life?
