Version is unknown
Leviton is on version 3 at the time of this review and I'm getting about half and half V2 and V3 devices. For some reason they have the same model number so you can't ask for one or the other, but they all work really well.

Reset button difficult to operate
As unit arrives in tripped position, the reset button needs to be pressed in fully as it's a much harder and deeper press than the usual GFCI receptacles so it is difficult with a finger, need to use a small, hard object to 'fully' reset and get receptacle to work

Easy Instal
I’m a 70 yr old woman and no problem installing this. The directions are clear and it won’t let you install incorrectly. I did at first but the directions told me what I did wrong. It’s fail proof so no worries, the green light shows it is working and almost bright enough for night lite.

Good
I have purchased 2 packs of 10. If you have 1 go bad, they send the whole order, 20, and you have to take one out and replace with bad one and ship all 20 back

Caution: wall plates NOT included
The outlet itself is excellent. It's easy to install, especially for my older home with outlets lacking ground wiring. But although the product title says "Wallplate Included," and the photos include pictures of wall plates, I did not receive any wall plates when I ordered four outlets. When I informed the seller, they were slow to respond and unhelpful.

What a non shocker!
If you want the latest in shock/short protections this is one form. Who would benefit the most by this? If you do not want the costs of an electrician or your box is not designed to except the breaker version of this And if you can safely replace an outlet now these are the next best solution to a breaker. This provides short protection from the ground to the two other lines AND between the two lines only. That gives complete coverage for not getting a shock and your devices going poof. Things to know: will NOT work on two wire outlets and needs to be at the First outlet of the electrical run (ie needs to be closest to the circuit box) for protection of that line. It will most likely will NOT trip the circuit breaker in the circuit breaker box so know where you have this installed to reset the circuit. Good stuff but not cheap or easy to install. Remember to flip off the breaker before install AND check the circuit for voltage with a voltage sniffer ( it beeps and flashes when a wire is hot!) Most important: if you have more then 4 wires plus ground or if you are not versed in sparky skills CALL an electrician!!! They are skilled in making sparks!

Works!
What's to say? The old one died after 5 years -- and the old one was also a Leviton too, so...Breaker off. Voltage confirmed at 0. Pop out the old one, pop in the new one. Breaker on. Reset (they're shipped already "tripped"). You're back in biz.

Arc Fault/Ground Fault dual protection
This receptacle provides Arc Fault/Ground Fault dual circuit protection for downstream circuit receptacles also, when installed correctly; as labeled on the unit. You can update old circuits without replacing your distribution box circuit breakers.

Laundry and kitchen safety receptacle
When moved into my newly built home just over 6 years ago, I had an issue with the placement of my washing machine receptacle. The builder had placed it as if I were planning on stacking my washer/dryer and having them in the same small space. They didn't tell me this before hand, so when I arrived with my machines (which weren't stackable), the washer plug was way to far away. I complained and they had an electrician install a receptacle, right above my water shut offs.At the time I was concerned, right beside a water source? Not to mention the fact that he installed a regular receptacle there. This was back in 2012. I asked the electrician, the builder and an inspector I hired if it was safe/okay to use. They all said yes.To this day, I still think they were full of it! Anyway, this year it was time for a new washer/dryer set (appliances only seem to last 5-6 years these days). I decided to opt for a stackable set to save floor space, and to also have a laundry sink installed where the washer used sit.Just before I got my new washer/dryer, I unhooked everything. This included a chest freezer which was on the same outlet as the washer. The washer unplugged fine, but the chest freezer electrocuted me. It was quick, and it only went up my arm before I let go. That was the moment where I knew I needed a safety receptacle, at the very least a GFCI outlet. And so I started my journey, on the path to learning to current electrical code. And has it changed! I learned that kitchens and laundry areas should have AFCI/GFCI receptacles, within 6ft of water sources. So I purchased this receptacle. I know I don't have a finished laundry room or an inspector coming in to make sure it's all to code, but for me it's better to be safe then sorry. The instructions were super simple to read, there's pictures too, the installation only took 10 min. It would have been a faster install if the old/original receptacle wasn't busted (we had to break the white and black lines, inside of the old receptacle. The electrician jammed them in so much that they wouldn't/couldn't be removed). It's a common sense installation, even beginners can manage this (turn off all the power in your home, keeping safety in mind)After I installed a plug-in light above the sink, I accidentally knocked the plug slightly out of the receptacle and the light tripped it. So I know it works!I'm very happy with this purchase, if that changes I'll be back to update!

Great product
I really like Leviton products and have purchased them for throughout the years for all my houses and projects. The black GFCI sells for thirty in the big box stores and the AFCI is forty. Here you get both for the price of the AFCI as well as in black and it's tamper-resistant. It's an all in one solution and Leviton products not only perform well but feel sturdy, which is the case with these. Furthermore, even if it incorporates the AFCI and GFCI, they managed to keep the product thinner than some dimmers, this is good considering that a 20 amp already has a larger gauge wire of 12 and will often have two wires making it tight and not leaving much space in the box.

Does the job
It’s beefy, does ARC fault and GROUND fault. I use it with an UPS that has a bunch of stuff plugged in and that keeps tripping my arc fault breaker. This way, if one device trips this outlet then the rest of my circuit isn’t tripping which in turn fixes my problem. It hasn’t tripped yet but i firmly believe that this outlet has fixed any arc problems that would arise in that particular location.Build quality is good aswell.Would buy again (if it turns out the outlet doesn’t trip and the breaker still trips then either the problem wasn’t where i thought it was OR this isn’t working. If latter is correct then i’d stay away from this product.

Excellent alternative to very expensive panel cct. breakers.
Exactly as advertised , could be a little more competitive with pricing as big box stores are about $10 cheaper ( when they have in stock).
