I wear these commuting everyday and they are comfortable and snug. The frames are high quality and seems rugged enough for some mishandling at times. The one minor flaw is that the lens pop out frequently. Of course, they are made to be interchangeable, but sometimes just putting them on your head with a single hand (the other is needed for driving) and pop goes the lens. It wouldn't stop me from buying them again, but it can be annoying when driving down the road at 65 mph.

After ordering 3 pairs of these sunglasses from various vendors and continually getting very dark frames, I called Smith directly and they told me they have changed the color of their Mediterranean frames but have not yet changed the photo. If you think you are ordering a turquoise frame as pictured, they no longer exist. They will come with a very dark translucent blue frame that almost looks black.

These are wonderful sunglasses: light weight frame that fits securely; lenses that handle glare well but are clear; and switching lenses actually works!The lenses easily fit in and out without scratching. I am so satisfied.Twenty years ago the swapping lenses would scratch very easily. I couldn't get them swapped without the scratching.

I've ordered these in Crystal Mediterranean (blue frames) twice, only to be sent shiny black frames twice. I'm giving it one more try. (If I wanted black I would've ordered black, right?)The glasses themselves are great: fit well on my face and fit well with my Smith MTB helmet. I like the style: they're sized just right for my needs.

I love almost every aspect of these glasses, from the fit to the style. I use them for every outdoor activity. But there's one major design flaw. When you fold the arms in, the plastic ends of the arms touch the lens and scratch them! All of my lenses have the same symmetrical scratches in the exact same spot. There's no way around this unless you just never fold in the arms. Quite disappointed in such a big design flaw. Maybe silicone ends might have prevented this.

I bought these for my daily walks as my Ray Bans were too heavy and large. These glasses are lightweight and I adore the color of the lens! The colors in the environment pop and I actually prefer wearing these to my Ray Bans.Highly recommend!I haven’t tried the lighter sets of lens which automatically come with the glasses yet. When I do, I’ll update this review.

These glasses were our tenth + pair of Smith glasses over the years between my wife and I...and these are the first pair that felt like $30 mall kiosk glasses.After 6 weeks and about 20 rides...(only road rides, always cleaned ONLY with included micro fiber and returned to case) I have a scratch patch right in the middle of my right lens. Smith says I can pay ANOTHER $60 for new lenses...why? I can buy two entire pairs of mall kiosk crap for that and they'd last longer.Adios Smith -- you used to sell pricey -- yet quality lenses and frames....now you just sell pricey -- yet crappy lenses and frames.

The fit is just perfect for me...medium/large. The Brown Polarized lense works well on the water in direct sun as well as daily driving on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii.Have bought numerous pairs over the year for these reasons and replacement lenses because scratching does occur. The frames are very light weight and durable. Have owned numerous pairs and keep coming back. Merchant Mariner Tugboat.
