Ideal for backpackers
So I will start by saying I was hesitant on whether to purchase this product. I own a Hydroflask - several in fact. I love said Hydroflask(s). However, I am an avid hiker/camper/backpacker. At times I admittedly opt for the low key car camping variety adventure but my real passions are sparked when I venture off into the unknown and have to subsist off of the land minus the minimal supplies I can carry in a rucksack. This is where the collapsible water bottle presented an intriguing option.Yes it is a good-sized bottle. Yes it keeps the water (or whatever liquid you prefer) relatively cool. Yes it is light weight and easily collapsible. No this is not a substitute for a well-insulated type bottle such as a Hydroflask. But that is not what this is designed for. If you want a light weight, space saving, moderately insulated bottle than this more than does the trick. It has uses for a variety of purposes but for the hikers and backpackers among us it is especially useful. In fact, I am considering purchasing another one for the simple reason that refills on hikes are not always an option but saving space and going light on weight should be.

Strong and firm even though it can collapse!
The quality was very high standard. It folds up nice and easy. When open the plastic sleeve makes it very solid to hold. The only problem is a personal one. It won’t fit in my sling purse in water slot. Just a little to wide. I think I need a 2” bottle.

Good value
The bottle is pretty much as described. It’s fairly easy to roll up although not as compact as I thought. But still more than fine. It’s easy to wash out. It will be quite handy when traveling. The pink is a bit darker than pictured but still attractive. I would buy again and recommend to friends.

Ineffective insulation, poor design
I bought this water bottle to take with me on a summer trip to the Philippines.I expected this bottle to keep my drinks cool for prolonged periods of time, as the description said. However after using it for 2 weeks I determined that it is NOT INSULATED at all.My drinks would've stayed just as cool if I had kept them in plastic bottles.Another thing I did not like was that the plastic portion that keeps the bottle robust needs to be taken off to fold the bottle. To keep from losing that piece (which helps it stay upright) it should be attached to the bottle (and should therefore be collapsible as well). The third thing I did not like is the ribbon used to keep the bottle folded is not removable (it is stitched closed over the ring around the bottom rim of the water bottle.I would want to remove it before washing (in case I wash my water bottle with spaghetti-sauce filled dishes...or something else that could stain the fabric). However, I did like the flip top lid that is secured with a clip, and the ease of washing the water bottle overall. It was easy to travel with it for the most part (it doesn't take up that much room, holds ample fluids) and is environmentally friendly.

We hike a lot and never check luggage so I liked the idea of a collapsible bottle but this was the most aggravating products I've ever used. The top doesn't latch very well and it has a pour opening so if you drop it, there's a good chance it will open and spill water all over. It happened at least 4 times in 3 days, once on the bed in our hotel room. The last time the plastic cap latch broke. It still sealed so we could use it but we had to carefully opening and close it. When you roll it up there's a little plastic slot (that I suspect would break very easily) at the end of the band that you hook over a shallow ridge on the cap to hold the roll in place. It disconnects if you look at it crosswise. Having it rolled up probably isn't that critical. It will still stay deflated without the hook but if you're marketing that you can roll it and hook it with the band, I don't expect it to unroll by just moving it in the backpack. It's not like we're really rough on stuff. We've been using the same water bottles for 8 years and I had to throw away the one of these after 4 days. I've still got the other one but I doubt I'll ever use it.ust take the cap off, roll it up to deflate and then close the cap to keep it flat . t; really need it it that you calsp There's a little ridge that It got knocked over on the bed the first day and spilled water all over. Dropped and spilled all over the hotel room floor the second day. The latch so before we even left teh room it knon very well First it has a pour opening and teh

Great product, good price, and easy to use!
So far, so good. We've not used it to drink water from yet, got it for a trip to Israel. Hope to soon, but not had occasion to. It came quickly, and Monument offered a handy short video to show how to roll it up. I saw in some reviews when purchasing that this was difficult. Not so. In fact, it is very easy, and appears to be a very high quality product at a very reasonable price. This is a follow up to my earlier review. I like this product! Was very handy on our trip. Pretty much carried water in it every day on a 13 day trip. Absolutely no complaints. No bad taste. And something I had never thought of... was very handy to take with me on my carryon. With TSA not allowing water bottles through security... I discovered they do allow empty ones. I would flatten this out, put it in my satchel. Security would ask if I had any fluids... No. And then when in the departure terminal, I found several airports with water fountains designed to fill bottles. And voila! I had water. And I didn't have to mortgage my first-born to get it. Handy. Great product. Great Price. 6 stars! Oops... I mean 5 :-)
