We ordered these in wintertime, but I'm sure the product was sitting out in a hot port somewhere for a long time. The flavor was stale and every wafel was a melted, bent carmel mess. What a waste of money. We opened it up and cut off a chunk, but the carmel was hardened. Terrible. I usually like Daelmans, but these were inedible. I will attempt to order from them again, but not more than a one-pack. Optimistic that they have fared better during shipping next time.

I use these for bike riding and running. They are a great energy source!

All melted. I brought them in the house immediately and put them on the kitchen counter. My son opened them 2 days later and basically just has to cot little pieces off. They are just in a block. I buy stroopwaffles often. They usually aren’t like this

All waffles in all 6 packs stuck together. They were definitely not overheated after delivery, so this must have happened during transit. The flavor was still good. I just ordered another lot, and will return them if not satisfactory.The lot in question was the first one in square boxes, all the many previous order cam in hexagonal boxes, for whatever that is worth.regards,Ernest Korchak

I got one of these waffles on a United Airlines flight, and I loved it. I had to have some more, so I ordered some from Amazon. You place one on top of your hot coffee or tea cup for a couple of minutes, and the caramel in the middle of the waffle gets warm and gooey. I don't eat one every day - just once a week or so for a snack. They're yummy.
