Does the Job, but Flimsy
There's not much to say. It does the job. The perforated metal rod is a bit flimsy and when I bent it to duck under a crossing water line, I was concerned that it might snap in two. A nice feature is that it comes with both a nut and thumb screw so you can choose how you want to attached the bar to the rod.

Five minute repair job
When my pop-up rod broke on a rental unit, I thought I would need to replace two fixtures in the bath (matching fixtures). This was a quick and easy fix. Under the sink, I unscrewed the old bolt connecting the broken rod, slipped in this rod, fed it into the existing mechanism, pushed it up a few inches, and tightened the bolt. Total repair time: 5 minutes. It took longer to find the product on Amazon than to make the repair. Looks perfect and it is undetectable even with the adjacent sink. Viola.

Replaces the plastic one's that come with so many new faucets.
I recently replaced my bathroom faucets and the pull rod is plastic. This means it is a lot more bulky and catches on the water lines when you pull the pull rod. Since the screw is holding the pull rod against plastic, the metal pull rod comes loose after only a few pulls and falls off. These old- style metal pull rod assemblies install in minutes and the "metal" thumb screw holding metal on metal to the pull rod works every time to open or close the drain.

Knob on top is very large relative to many OEM rods
The 12" rod is a good length for most applications... We had several sinks of different styles and unfortunately for most of them the knob was too big and hit the sink spout such that the knob stuck up above the faucet. If you have tight clearance, check before ordering.

Works as intended
Bought this to replace a broken plastic piece. Since this is metal I'm hoping it won't break as easily. So far it has done it's job

Wrong diameter
This rod is 3/16” x 12”. The length is what I wanted; however, with a diameter of 3/16”, it is too wide to slide into the top of the faucet. It looks like the old rod to be replaced is only 1/8” (2/16”). The product description on Amazon does not mention the 3/16” diameter and I had assumed that faucet rods are a standard diameter.
