Superb coverage on rusty chiminea. A smooth matt finish after 2 thin coats were applied. We will see how it lasts in regular use but it has visually transformed the look of our garden heater,

I bought this to paint my gas fire (not the inside), as I hated the old fashioned brass look. It looks great now that it is painted, but was not easy to use was so runny. Splattered and dripped everywhere and dispersed on application.Despite following instructions and thoroughly stirring the paint, I found I had to put my brush right to the bottom of the tin where it was a bit thicker, which then got the brush in a right mess, but the paint at the bottom was easier to use and gave better coverage.I rated it as a 4 as I am happy with the end result, but seriously hope I don't have to do it again.

Excellent product. It has given my fireplace a deep matt black finish. I used it to paint the fireboards surrounding my wood burner. The coverage is amazing and if I had realised it was so good I would have ordered the smaller 250ml tin. As it is I now still have most of a 500ml tin left over.The fumes are pretty hefty so make sure you have a big window open and ideally create a through-draft by wedging open another door or large window. If you can’t do that I would recommend setting up a fan to blow the fumes away from you towards an open window.

Good coverage, has covered my rusty chiminea well. Looks like new right now, will see how long it lasts until the rust starts coming back through. It has a Matt finish, zero gloss or shine.

I needed to refurbish some rusty oven door handles...this product seemed ideal. The first can was splotchy, the second can was ok. But even after using feather strokes, the coverage looked a bit patchy and also after drying the paint was quite powdery. So I had to buy a can of heat resistant spray lacquer for car paint to seal the powdery paint. Think this has worked and at least the rust seems to have been treated...looks ok but I think you need to be good at using spray paint to get an even coverage. I needed about 4-5 layers before it looked ok.

This is a fantastic paint, you can literally spare away with no worries of splatters, dry in minutes and go again with another coat of paint, comes out a mat finish and is not exactly black, looks more really dark grey, used on my motorbike exhaust and its great, will be buying again soon.
