Alphabears: An ABC Book Paperback – Picture Book, March 15, 1991

This was my favorite book as a little kid so I bought a copy for my nephew. Such a sweet book with beautiful illustrations!

I read this book to my children many years ago and they loved it. Now, I have purchased this copy to read to my soon to arrive grandson. The book is beautifully written and the illustrations are beautiful, as well. It’s a great book for any children’s library.

Would have liked the original cover. Books I ordered had a cover that was a bit different, but not enough to be a problem. Giving these to each of my grandchildren and already had a few, so the ones I just ordered will be a bit different on the outside. Still happy to have them.

My children were given this book when they were babies. I love the illustrations and the unusual rhymes, not your typical abc rhymes. My son read it nearly every day until he was 3 or 4. We still have it, and my kids are 32 and 34. When my niece recently had a new baby, we just had to get it for her.

I have purchased several children's books over the years and my favorites are all illustrated by Michael Hague. Practically frame-able! Alphabears is no exception.

This was my favorite ABC book as a child. Each letter is associated with the name of a Bear and there is a sentence or two that gives that bear some personality and the picture tells a little story. Excellent full page illustrations; I used to love making up stories about each bear.I was a little disappointed that the used copy I bought for a friend had writing inside and that wasn't noted in the description. Either way I highly recommend this book.

I used to love this book when I was little, and my dad recently had me buy a copy for his neighbors, who are having their first child. My dad STILL quotes this book 30 years later, whenever it's windy: "K is for Kyle, the kite-flying bear. He loves days that are breezy and fair!"

I read this book to my son when he was a baby/toddler, and he loved it so much, that he could recite it word for word. Our original copy was so well loved, and read that it fell apart, and I found another copy here through Amazon. It will be a family heirloom for future generations to come. Thank you so much!

I bought the hardback version of this along with number bears many years ago for my son when he was a toddler . He now has a baby of his own, so bought it for my grandson . Timeless and beautiful book .

This is a book I hold near and dear to my heart!! The illustrations bring back so many nostalgic memories!! A must for any child, boy or girl!

My youngest son had this book years ago but it was stolen, I was so pleased to be able to buy a pristine copy, and so was he to receive it.
