Super Clamp with 1/4 and 3/8 Thread for Cameras, Lights, Umbrellas, Hooks, Shelves, Plate Glass, Cross Bars, etc - 735

I'm not sure what to say. If you need one of these, you know what they do. 1: The price is right. 2: It is made well 3: It clamps on stuff and stays 4: You mount stuff to it My use cases are pretty typical, at least for someone looking at economically priced clamps with 1/4 and 3/8 threads. I have bought four of these so far. They are used with a GoPro, a Lumix G85, and for mounting microphones or lights or similar. I imagine if I were to be hanging some high end gear up, I'd look into the expensive clamps. One use case I had was to mount this clamp to the crossbar luggage rack on my SUV, and mounting a GoPro to it. No problems were detected, withs speeds of 40 to 45 miles per hour, for about 40 miles. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

This was part of a Lockport setup as recommended by Sandman on Youtube (I think he gave credit to someone else for coming up with this originally though). Add a Kupo 3.5" Baby Stud and a 1/4" x 20 to 3/8" x 16 male/male adaptor and you have a damn near perfect lock holding vise that fits the Panavise bases. I did remove the pin that retains the 3/8" side-no need for it for my application. I worked in manufacturing for decades and I struggle to understand how products of this quality level can be sold at this price. Even the chrome plating on the screws and barrels is first rate!

This clamp has held up great over the years. A must have for anyone needing to mount lights or accessories in obscure places.

Have a camera tripod, and an old rifle scope you are not using? You have an instant spotting scope for 1/3 the price. It can hold all 30mm or 1" scope tubes easily, and locks in really well on any standard tripod.

This is a FANTASTIC clamp. I own three of them, as well as the Manfrotto Nano Clamp (386B) that this is clearly trying to replicate (and in many ways improves upon) and multiple super/mafer clamps of various brands. For $9, this really cant be beat. It's sturdy and easy to adjust thanks to the slip joint that allows you to adjust the tightener based on position. This cant be said of many larger super clamps that cost 2-4x the price. Regarding the most direct replacement, the Manfrotto Nano clamp, at 1/4 the price this clamp offers way more functionality. The jaws open wider and the rubber grip pads are stronger. Compared to a super clamp/mafer clamp, the jaws are wider while being much lighter and more compact. The 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 female sockets offer flexible mounting options for nearly any accessory. I cant believe I have made it this far in my career without owning this clamp. I will be buying many more. While certain applications can still benefit from a full size super clamp with its 5/8" hex receiver and superior wight rating, this clamp can replace it in many situations and is quite frankly a better option for many use cases. Don't waste your money on clamps that cost 3-4x as much and are less useful. This is by far the best choice for small and medium accessories.

Rigs are unique to the user. With a device like this you can create one as you see fit since it has enough inputs to screw in and attach to tripods or whatever you choose. Like a jigsaw puzzle, I created one of the best functional rigs for my 4kcamera and Iphone. I have a very unique shooting style in which i must be able to use the functions on the camera while shooting. I will say thanks to Smart Rig I was able to create the impossible and get the results i wanted. I love the SmartRig products! The only thing is say is you must be mindful of is the of the screws. they will loosen if you do not tighten it properly. Sometime you may want to keep it loose if you change your rig according to your assignments, however, if you are satisfied with the rig you created then tighten it as much as possible to ensure a steady shot.

That bad boy is strong, and the shape of the clamp allows it to hold firm in almost any surface. I've attached Speedlight flashes with a magic arm, light reflector, small video lights... and it can hold it all!

Very nice. I use it to attach a headrest to by office chair. Not exactly a difficult job but they do the trick.

How about this for versatility,sturdiness and value for money. I used the Super Clamp mounted to a normal tripod to hold my camera while digitising negatives.
