My first impression of this umbrella was its lightweight and compact size. It is only 4-feet long, fits easily in the trunk, and can be carried around without much effort.When we first tried it out in our backyard, we found it straightforward to set up. It actually feels pretty sturdy and stable regardless of its lightweight. With stripes of white and different shades of blue on the silky fabric, this umbrella is very beautiful to look at and very smooth to touch upon. While my wife marveled about its beauty and elegance, I was quite excited to find out about its many well-thought design ideas, including the 30-degree tilting function, the air vents on the top, and the sandbag on the base. These are all useful features that we did not expect to find in a beach umbrella.Both my wife and I love the umbrella, not only because of its look and feel, but also because it is well-constructed and it comes with so many useful features. Besides, the price is also very affordable. We would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a backyard or enjoys spending time on the beach.

Done with tents and cabanas after buying this. Provides all the shade as a Neso or similar beach cabana, but with a much smaller footprint - both on the beach and for storage/transport - and sets up in half the time. Stood up to 15-20 mph winds on the beach with no problem. We'll see how they hold up after a few seasons, but so far so good. The sandbag material is a little cheap and will rip if you just try to dump the sand without removing most of it before you lift it up, but that was user error. The only thing I'd knock the manufacturer on slightly is the size of the storage bag. It's one of those things where you will struggle to get it back if it's not packed up exactly as it came from the factory.

Took it to beach and it was very windy each day we went. Only quality, sturdy umbrellas performed well and this one was no exception. Others would turn inside out or even fly out of the ground. To be safe we did also tie a rope to umbrella and our cart. The black underside is different and nice, cut down on glare and maybe heat. Colors are pretty and bold and this is a nice size. 2 fit under it very comfortably and can accommodate 3. We had 4 in party so I did bring another smaller umbrella to ensure enough comfortable room. The only thing I wish was a bit different is the size of plastic pole. Tommy umbrella brands are more sturdy in that regard but cost more too. Great value and unique addition of the sandbag for weight. Carry bag works great and not hard to get umbrella back in but make sure you put sandbag in carefully with umbrella because it will not fit in afterwards.
