Red Amber Earrings

If the stones were larger, viewers would instantly dismiss them as costume jewelry (glass or plastic).> The shape is appropriate --- they look like a drop of honey or tree resin --- which is exactly what they are (albeit fossilized and naturally mineralized). Other "amber" jewelry which is cut into facets, is just not believable as amber, and screams "plastic" or "glass". Not that there is anything wrong with being faceted, but if you like the faceted look, you may as well save some money and buy plastic or glass.> My wife tells me that they are very comfortable, because they are very light weigh --- which is the case, because amber is naturally very light in weight --- some amber is so light that it can even float on water.> These are a natural "stone" --- presumably the color may vary within a narrow range. But the pair I received were EXACTLY the color pictured.> Beware that amber is not a hard gemstone. All amber has to be handled and treated with care. Amber is not a recommended gift for a careless child. It terms of wear, amber is like fairly soft plastic. That, by the way, is the reason that amber is rarely faceted --- amber is too soft to retain sharp facets edges over years of wear. And for the same reason, amber does not have the refractive index of even ordinary glass, and so any facets do not sparkle the way a diamond or other gemstones do.

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited forgot to put lipstick and things but Amber is natural and so am I. I’m so happy with these they’re light big like I love and authentic and beautiful. Worth the money I feel like I’m wearing them all the time. Thanks so much I might order the gold now ❤️

They are so pretty…… lost them before I even got to wear them. 🤷🏼‍♀️Just sent for another pair. I’ve looked all over for them Got got a second pair of these beautiful earrings BUT…. The metal has tarnished terribly!! Makes them look really cheap, so I can’t wear them !! I am so sad about this. But I can’t afford another pair.

I really like these. They are very nice. I dropped a point because I have a heck of a time getting them on my ears.

These are absolutely beautiful earrings. The red is rich and in the light it almost glows. Just the right size for a statement piece of jewelry, but comfortable enough for everyday wear.
