Great battery cutoff switch.
Highly satisfied with this battery cutoff switch. I have two on my boat for the batteries and they have performed excellent.

Hi-Quality Design, Sturdy Construction
This DC electrical on/off shut-off switch is Hi-Grade and perfect for isolating (disconnecting) a battery on tractors and equipment to prevent any perisitic current draw, which could drain a battery dead. When ready to use the equipment, just turn on this switch. It is properly installed into the positive (red) cable where it is first connected to the post. There should be no wire/cable connections between the positive post and the shut-off switch. Any connections that could drain a battery should be wired "after" this switch.

Very sturdy switch
Does exactly what it supposed to do. I have two separate 12v battery banks that I charge with two separate charge controllers but want to once in a while combine together for big power draw needs and then sometimes draw from these battery banks separately and this switch does the trick including shutting both banks out when I need to be the case. Works awesome for my needs.

Try it out before mounting
Does what it should but it is difficult to turn on/off. I recommend putting it in a location that is easy to access. Try it before you mount it.

Most widely used power disconnect for Motorhomes.
I added this in for control of my new LiFePo4 batteries to protect against charging/Discharging in very cold weather and during maintenance. You cannot work on this system without a way to disconnect all power positively! I have a Class A Motorhome and have not yet added solar (coming 2026). I will install another of these disconnects when I bring in solar.

Decent switch. Average price fast delivery.
Mounting screws are small/short. The housing is 1.25" thick. Provided screws are only 1.5" .25" allows only a thread or two of engagement. The 600amp switch is pretty heavy duty. I originally used a Nilight 300amp switch which failed at 200amps maximum in a few months. I ordered the 300amp Spartan which lasted two years, but still failed at less than 200amps, so we chose a 600amp Spartan which seems to be holding up.

Well built, I wish it had snapping plastic tabs instead of holes on the bottom
