I bought this for my 12 year old son. It got broken after 10 days of use. There was smoke coming out of it. Luckily he was not alone but at home with me. This product is not safe.

Excellent 3m long cable for my laptop power block
Got this so I could use the power socket for my laptop charger whilst sitting in my local 'spoons == which always seems to have a power socket on the wall between two tables = or nearer an occupied table next to mine.Also very usefull for a certain budget range of hotel where they give you a power socket next to the kettle that is 3m from the bed or armchair in the corner.
