Deck: Moon Garden by Sweikhardt, Karen Marie (DMOOGAR0TA)

I love this deck. The art style is very solid - maintaining through all of the cards. The imagery is magical and fun for adults and kids (other reviewers bought this for a younger friend but I bought it for myself and am happy I got it. This deck would make a great starter deck even though I didn't buy it for that - the images are accessible and don't deviate from traditional tarot interpretations. This deck probably deserved a five since the card stock is good, the images are solid, and it's easy to read with.... but it does play into one of my problems with most tarot decks and I've decided to stop rewarding people for doing it. Where this deck keeps female figures and male figures on roughly the same cards that they always are on (if the artist had replaced all male figures with female figures the rating would've gone down to three), the female figures are emphasized. One card has a fairy queen, the next card has a normal looking dude. One card has an enchanting mermaid, next card has a normal looking dude. Men are magical too!!! Besides this complaint, I'll be using this deck for years to come and will probably be buying it for friends.... so I couldn't have hated it that much!!!

I was searching for the perfect tarot deck for my friend for Christmas. I was very specific. It had to have something with Dragonflies on it. Finally I came across this deck. Dragonfly on every card. How cool is that? Delivery was quick and had no issues.

It was perfect!
