Tentacle Sync Sync E MKII Time Code Generator Standard Set

Tentacle makes an excellent timecode box for your video production needs. They are small, compact, have an amazingly long battery life, and most importantly...they keep that timecode locked in perfectly! They are easy to use with the app, or just syncing up to a master timecode generator...all in a matter of seconds, and then they hold on to that time throughout the day. Did I mention that the battery lasts a long time? They are so small and lightweight, they are hardly noticeable when attached to the camera. I have synced these to a variety of mixers, timecode generators, and cameras and they work great every single time. The price is right, and the product is great!

I was skeptical when first reading about Tentacle products, but after renting them a few times to test, instantly my life was changed... seriously. They make syncing multiple cameras and mics (if you use their Track E recorder) as simple as one click. You use the app on your phone to do the sync at the start of the day, and that's it. Perfect timecode all day (batteries can actually last nonstop for a day and a half or so).

We now have 3 Tentacle Track E and 3 Tentacle Sync E units, and they are incredible. They just work. They have completely transformed my post production workflow. The fact that I can sync multiple cameras and audio tracks instantly and perfectly not only dramatically speeds editing, but it encourages me to do things that we wouldn't even try without them. I really love both the hardware and the software. Highly recommended.

I’ve been editing for years and never used a sync device. I always did it the hard way. This product is so easy to use and makes the editing process so much faster. My work flow has improved tremendously.

These are surprisingly compact. When I opened the box I thought I was looking at a battery for the device until I realized that it was the sync generator. I sometimes run two Sony AX700s, with Insta360 X3 cameras and an Insta360 Ace Pro, with a Zoom H6 capturing audio. All of these will sync up perfectly in post. The built-in mic captures pretty good audio, although I don't use it in the final production.

Had a shoot with more cams. No hesitation getting more than the four I already had.
