Does the job for a first time mom
My son is 15 months old and we’ve been using this high chair since he was 6 months. I’m a first time mom and this is the only high chair I have experience with but I must say it does the job. I read through the reviews on here and have some points to make:- I don’t find the tray easy to kick off by my son at all and he’s pretty strong- The leather is super easy to wipe down, so are the straps. There are definitely some gaps where food can fall in but if you’re aware that they’re there and stay on top of it, it doesn’t become a problem. I also don’t find it difficult to take apart completely if needed- I think the high chair is lightweight and easy to move around. I never fold mine up I just push it under our dining room table so I can’t speak on that- I will say though that the foot rest is too low to the floor, my son is in the 90th percentile for height and is JUST now able to actually reach it- I like how there are multiple recline positions and how the height can be adjusted. Actually adjusting it is a bit rusty but I just do it before I put my son in because otherwise his body weight makes it nearly impossible to lift to a higher position- I see how many others are commenting that there’s no way to pull the high chair around the house , which I didn’t know was a thing with other high chairs until now. But I just push him using the 2 handles on the back and scream wee and we both enjoy that so again, not a big deal.- It’s also a very pretty looking item as well, the white plastic is durable and doesn’t stain even with spaghetti sauce.I didn’t do much research on this item and I think I got my money’s worth. Again, I don’t have much experience but as a novice I think it’s a pretty good high chair and checks out for me.

Worth the investment, don't get swayed by bells and whistles of others.
I don't write reviews however I spent so long reading reviews and stressing over what high chair to get that I knew I had to write this. One of the best decisions ever. One side note before I get started....you really don't need all the bells and whistles of a lot of baby items out there. A simple well designed product is most of the time a better choice. I purchased a oxo sprout which is perfect for my older child but for my 6 month old it was kind of stiff. He is at this point an assisted sitter so the slight padding on the joovy is perfect for the extra support. Very easy to clean. Best part is the reclining aspect as when he is done eating and I am cleaning up I can slightly recline him to relax and be able to see me while I have time to tidy up. Also love the ability to adjust height so easily even with baby in it. It slides up and down and locks in place at several levels so I can have him up high when I am around the kitchen preparing or cleaning then table height when eating and then lower if I wheel him into another room. Only flaw if any is the tray doesn't have a place to hang on the back when not in use so you have to store it elsewhere but not that big a deal. Overall great investment.

Many useful features and a sleek modern design
I agonized over which high chair to buy and this one seems like the right one. You use high chairs for about 2 years multiple times a day so it's an important purchase. I hated the highchair I had for my first two babies. I wanted to get one I liked for #3. Pros: It reclines (soBaby can hang out comfortably and even nap). The tray is larger which is helpful for messy toddlers. It has a footrest. It has a tray cover so you can prepare food and simply attach the cover without removing the tray. It has a soft seat. It doesn't look like a car seat and is sleeker than most other highchairs. It has wheels. The hieght can be adjusted (which you use frequently when feeding baby either standing or sitting). The major con is that it takes up a bigger footprint in the kitchen but it can fold to a smaller size when not in use.Update: after over a year I’m still happy I purchased this chair. The only part that didn’t wear well is the joovy logo on the front and side, and as soon as it started to chip off I scratched the rest of the paint off with my fingernail. It is an excellent chair for toddler years. We have also used it without the tray, pulled up to the table.
