marking very easily, which a pain since it has no protection ...
Bought for my mum in hospital following cancer surgery and unable to speak. Gadget is very flimsy and sensitive, marking very easily, which a pain since it has no protection cover. Individual words cannot be erased, so have to be crossed through. Lasted 3 days then completely conked out. For a glorified child's magnetic board, it was definitely not worth the money. Mum ended up with good old pen and paper.

Straight forward and simple notetaking
Works as expected, fairly straight forward,no way in the device to store your notes, but thats what it said in the description. They suggest taking photos of the notes but often ceiling lights and flash light reflect from the surface and make parts unreadable.

3 cons
I receveid mine yesterday, and nobody in the house likes it.It has 3 major cons:1- The writing on the one I received yesterday is really not bright. (I especially bought this model because the description claimed it was sooo bright.) (I saw one in Staples lately wich was way much brighter.)2- The writing looks "leaking" (spreads fuzzy) around the tip of the pen, just like if you were writing with a leaking ballpoint pen.3- When you write, even touching the screen very softly with your hand or wrist makes marks on the screen. Is it mine which is deffective or are they all like that?Could the seller contact me for a replacement?

Not thrilled
It's an up-scale dry erase board that requires you to delete the entire panel of writing instead of individual lines. I understand it's like writing pen to paper and "crossing out" would be sufficient but I find it irritating when making lists and prioritizing items. I also find the "pen" difficult to remove when you have it stuck on a magnetic surface. There is just no room to pop it out easily. The Jot App allowsyou to take a photo of the tablet and edit the writing but I don't see a huge benefit there. I could just as well take a photo and save it to my gallery.I managed to get over all this and take it for what it is and then I became disappointed all over again when i heard it crash from the fridge onto the kitchen floor. The magnets on the backing were stuck to my fridge but the tablet had crashed to the floor. In short, I'm not thrilled with what I received for what I paid. I'll be switching back to pen and paper...
