WONDERFUL JUST PERFECT
So we have a Pridiom mini split. Had a remote go south. Could NOT find this remote anywhere because Pridiom no longer in business. I found one on Ebay and have had the remote for about 2 years, but it's only in Celsius and we need Fahrenheit, and it causes problems and barely works the unit, so aggravating. FINALLY, I somehow found this remote which is IDENTICAL to our original and it is n Fahrenheit, and you can switch it to Celsius if you want. I put the batteries and ding it works perfect, like just perfect. It's not a universal one that programs, couldn't find one for ours but this thing works Pridiom. I ordered another for back up immediately. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

This remote works as advertised…it works perfectly with my air conditioner.

No directions to program
There are no directions on how to program this remote to work with my air conditioner. It is essentially useless because it is not connected to my air conditioner no matter what I try.

Perfect for Midea!
No idea what happened to the original remote for my Midea, but this one works like a charm with every possible function!

Why is it so hard to get a remote to work with a Midea MAW06R1BWT
We have two Midea EasyCool Air Conditioner MAW06R1BWT with original remotes that failed very quickly. We could live without a remote, but I figured this replacement remote at this price will do the trick. Unfortunately, it is still not fully compatible. As soon as I powered the Midea with the replacement remote.. the LED display on the AC would revert to Celsius. No problem, I thought, just hold temp + and temp - together and the display will change. Unfortunately as soon as I use this new remote again, the display on the AC reverts to Celsius. I guess I could put a sticker with F to C conversions, but geeze, why so hard? You could ignore the display on the AC and just look at the temperatures on the remote (once you match the setting) but once again, not ideal.
