New unit. Stops functioning for 2 min. daily, then comes back on. Checked sensor and magnet gap, ok. As long as it comes back on, I have no problem. Must be a normal thing I have to start expecting from foreign goods. Disconcerting. A mechanical American made speedometer won't fit my wheel. Its just for reference, not needed for bike functioning.

I purchased this item to be used on my Trek Lowstep bike attached to an indoor trainer. I got what I paid for: a lot headaches! According to the poorly written installation instructions the maximum distance for this speedometer to receive a signal is 130cm. That is approximately 51". From my handle bar to the seat stay where I installed the Sensor is 36". The speedo did not operate. I had to install the speedo on the angled head tube at a distance of 24", before it started to work and use a wood wedge with the bracket in order to see the screen between my legs. I spent several hours to get this to work properly with a fair amount of ingenuity for the components to mount properly. I have a lot of small engine and automotive repair background and was able to figure out these installation issues. Definitely not worth all the aggravation

No me he podido acomodar con el velocímetro solo pude usarlo una vez y de ahí no se que pasó ya no quiere funcionar o leer el sensor.
