After a few rounds of probiotics, I tried this product and it worked better than others at replenishing the gut flora, felt better right away, and after 2-3 months dramatically better. I have food intolerances, but with the intensive fermentation in the production of this product, none of the ingredients that otherwise would give me a reaction bothered me, it was smooth without any problems to take it. I find this professional version a bit stronger than their other less expensive one, but both are effective. What I did was start with this one to give the body a big boost, then switched to the other Ohhira's cheaper one after a couple months for a finishing and maintenance dose. You could always see if the other one works fine for you, but if you want a more powerful acute healing, this one can be the way to go. In an acute situation, I found it to be more effective than some other high quality probiotics that I take for maintenance, such Primal Defense, which is very good, but packs less punch for a post antibiotic or acute intestinal illness episode, while Ohhira's really comes through when the intestine is depleted. I've done the Ohhira's in those situations, such as post antibiotics, more than once, probably 3 or 4 times over the last 20 years and it's been repeatedly the most effective. For maintenance doses, though, I don't think it is as worth the extra money, instead then I use Primal Defense, and there are other good ones, so for maintenance no need to spend the extra money for this product. But if you haven't tried it and are doing maintenance doses, you could try the Ohhira's for a month and see if there's a difference, it's worth getting in your system at some point.

These probiotics are the best I've ever taken. There are things happening in my gut - lots of movement happening. A little nausea sometimes but I can remedy that pretty quickly with my essential oils. There are things coming out of me that I'm so grateful are coming out. I've been cleansing off & on for about 17 years in different ways, but these are making more of a significant visible impact than a lot of other products I've tried. I started out with the original formula and it didnt really seem to be doing much, yet I knew I needed something strong due to the stuff happening in my body & mind. I'm so glad I gave these a whirl. I think it's very possible I have a big parasite or lets just make it plural - parasites. But this nex part is highly interesting to me. After I started taking these, within the first week I started noticing some pulsation feelings, kinda like 'knock knock' in the areas just above & just below my navel - not a pulse - this is more random. This can go on for a few minutes to a half hour. Then I also started noticing physical movements from left to right, and one side of my navel will rise up higher than the other as I'm looking down at my belly - it really doesnt seem like poop moving around. This is different. I'm thinking these probiotics are awakening these things in my belly because they don't like what's being put into the environment, so maybe they are on high alert and trying to move away & hide somewhere. My sugar cravings have really started dissapating & I'm using other cleansing essential oils too. I'm thinking after another week or two, I may try some organic turpentine (pine oil) to see if that clears out any of these things. There is a lot of positive info about using organic turpentine to clear out parasites for people into natural healing. There is a very specific protocol, as like many other things, it can be toxic/deadly in high doses. I have tried it before but I didn't see any action like I'm seeing now, but it did make me slightly nauseated. I also heard frozen organic castor oil capsules can expel them too. Anyhow, I'm very glad I gave these a try. Definitely recommend them to anyone with gut issues.
