I absolutely love this leave-in conditioner and my girlfriend does too!I'm a dude who used to style my hair with hair wax when it was shorter. Now that I'm growing my hair out, like really out, I needed something a lot lighter, something to help my thick curls which tend to dry out and get frizzy. My girlfriend has somewhat thinner, wavy hair and she loves this stuff too, her hair is shoulder length and very dark brown and it gives it a nice shine without weighing it down or making it look greasy.This stuff is amazing. The smell is gentle and natural, I usually forget it's scented because it's very light (this is a good thing to me). I use this stuff after every shower, pat some of the water out of my hair and liberally apply, because my thick, curly hair gets dried out very easily. Then I wait a while because my hair is getting longer, but once it air dries on its own, I run my fingers through and fluff it up. The conditioner has light hold and light shine so my hair looks really natural, feels super soft, and is hydrated. I've also been known to just rinse my hair in the sink to get rid of some bedhead, and I'll reapply this conditioner after that to the same results. I use this as my daily styling product because I like the loose, natural look of the light hold. If you wash your hair every day DEFINITELY use this to out some moisture back. If you don't wash your hair every day like me because your hair gets dried out too easily, the softness of this product is lasting. I get bedhead but my hair is still soft!Also it seems like I'm using a lot of the product when I apply it but the tube lasted me for far longer than I expected. It's a good size.

I found this brand of conditioner and leave-in conditioner to do pretty well for my thick, fairly curly hair that knots easily for years. I chose it because it was a more "natural" brand. It's thick which is nice for not wasting space with added water and ability to cling to hair well.It can get hard to squeeze out of the container. The one I have now is very difficult to get out. Water also gets stuck in the top part. Also, it is very difficult to clean out well before recycling.

I ended up purchasing this product because I needed something else to make the shipping free. LOL! But I am glad that I did. I had heard wonderful things about it from other websites devoted to African American Naturally Curly/Coily hair and had always thought "one day" I'll check it out and just haven't in years I've been natural. But to the review:I applied this product to my hair directly after washing and towel drying my hair in sections of four. I was prepping my hair for 2 strand twist. As I started to twist, I noticed that this leave in has some great "slip" to it and it made my hair feel easier to twist. And the ends of my hair seem to curl around each other a little better which cuts down on the amount of gel I have to use. My hair felt like it was better moisturized, softer and it smells pretty good too without being overpowering like other products I have used, it's light and fresh. And the consistency is also light, which is a plus for me since my hair is very thick and any damp product in my hair tends to have an extended amount of time to dry. But the back of my hair was pretty close to dry by the time I was finishing up the front. I've had my twists in for 2 days now and my hair still feels soft and moisturized even though I haven't even sprayed my hair with anything at all. Usually I use a spray moisturizer every day after twisting my hair.I am thoroughly impressed with this product and I actually just looked it up at my local Wal-Mart (because I do not like to depend on products I can't get on a whim with a quick trip down the street) to make sure this is a product I will be able to have in supply whenever I need it.

This leave-in conditioner is amazing! I will never use any other leave-in ever again! This product makes my hair so soft, my hair hasn't been this soft in a long time. I have natural, African American, 4b hair and this conditioner works wonders on my hair. I haven't had hair this soft and so long! This truly is a blessing from God, because I have tried almost every leave-in conditioner and they have never made my hair feel like this! I hope Giovanni is a company/brand that lasts for a long time and that they keep making this product, because it truly is a great product. I now want to try their shampoos and other non-leave-in conditioners, because if this product works this well, then maybe all of their products are equally as great! So I hope to try some more of their stuff real soon.

This product makes my wild, curly, frizzy hair feel soft and shiny. My hair is so soft and beautiful! Definitely highly recommend!

This product is purchased by some who have reactions to ingredients in other products and I am one of them.This leave in conditioner does what it says. It conditions your hair and is “weightless”, so it doesn’t leave your hair feeling coated.Because of this, if you needed to apply something else like a curl cream or a gel, it will “ play well” with other products.Most of the time I use the Giovanni Leave In is on it’s own.One bottle lasts me a long time. I don’t find I have to use much of it. It has a wonderful texture and does not irritate my scalp. Excellent for those with shorter hair cuts.I get a softer curl, and hair that I enjoy that does not smell like anything.🙂

I bought this because I saw a black youtuber with type 4 hair use this. She talked about how light it was and how a little went a long way… I was in need of a new leave in, and I haven’t found one I could truly call a staple in my hair box just yet so i decided to try it out.It worked AMAZINGLY?!!! It wasn’t kidding when it said ‘suitable for all hair textures’!! I used it on lightly damp hair as instructed and it did define my curls a little bit — but must importantly, it was very moisturising and incredibly lightweight! Great for my fine strands! A little products (like a 1p coin size) was enough for half a quadrant of my hair! I was very impressed!It smells nice too — nothing over-powering that lingers in your hair, but just a light touch thats comes right out the bottle!
