Great product
Excellent condition. Much easier to use than previous models. Slightly larger and the sound quality and speaker facilities are greatly improved. Thoroughly recommend for the older person who cannot cope with smart phones and just want to make and receive calls.

Brilliant phone
Bought this simple to use push button phone for my elderly Mum, she's getting on fine with it, buttons are big and easy to use, great that caller name comes up on front screen,so far so good I've only had her ask me to help her couple of times, it's a nice size for her to hold and good it comes with a handy cradle to change it so no need to fiddle with putting charger lead in all the time, would definitely recommend this lovely phone, she chose the red one and loves it,Thank you seller, big thumbs up from me

Purchased for an elderly relative who has long needed an upgrade. I was initially put off by the price but it is difficult to find a basic phone with large buttons and modern design. It is very easy to set up and use. Ringtones and calls are loud. The battery does not last as long as I had hoped, but I knew this before purchasing from other reviews. Anyone with limited vision or hand range will benefit from the cradle to charge.Pricey but happy with purchase.

Battery Life isn’t great on this phone
Phones brilliant for my nan but compared to her old 3G Doro Phone, this 4G variant doesn’t quite have the same battery life. Great for older people in terms of button size and readability and the panic button on the back is nice and loud in case of emergencies. Make sure to have another battery for this phone.

OK, but a bit different to the previous model
My mother in law is 90 and her mobile network started to send messages saying that her phone - a Doro, and the previous model to this one - would soon stop working due to 3G being switched off, so we had no choice but to upgrade. We picked this one as it was the successor to her current phone, was the same size and form factor, and we thought it would be pretty much the same to use, but there are some differences. It's a clamshell phone and is most definitely not a smartphone, so you'll not be able to use apps or even do much online here, so as long as you really just want to be able to use texts and make & receive calls you'll be fine. There's a camera and FM radio (haven't tried these) and an emergency button on the back which, when set up, allows you to send an SOS message with a single push to specific contacts, but again we haven't tried this. The phone comes with a charger and a stand which you can place the handset in when not in use (the charger can plug into this to allow it to charge while in the stand). Battery life seems OK but as always it depends on how much you use the phone, and it seems fairly quick to charge. The screen is large and bright, and clear to read. There is a small screen on the outside of the phone which lights up with an icon showing if a text or call is being received and the name of the person as long as you have them in your contacts. Sounds from the phone are loud, and in use the call audio is clear. The only issue we have with the phone is that it is just that little bit different to use than the old one, so any "muscle memory" has to be forgotten and this can cause confusion for older users if you are switching them from an old handset. We've had a number of occasions where we've had to tell her how to send texts, only to have to go over it again a few days later, and several times when she's called us when trying to delete a text, which is alarming when this happens late at night. It's not that it's difficult to use, it's just that it's that litte bit different to how the old phone was.As is the case these days, the phone comes with minimal instructions in the box - enough to be able to insert your micro-SIM card and battery, charge it up, switch it on, identify the core features and what the buttons do, but that's all, and if you want a longer user guide you can download this from the Doro website.
