I first saw this book at our church bookstore (but for a higher price). I read through it and immediately got tears in my eyes. We just had our rainbow baby almost 4 months ago and this book is so perfect and I will look forward to reading it with my little one as she gets older.

What a charming storybook! You just want to read it out loud. The illustrations are beautiful and the story itself reads like poetry. It captures both the joyful anticipation parents-to-be feel before their baby is born or adopted and the love and joy that follow. 5 stars.Thank you to NetGalley, Zonderkidz and Sally Lloyd-Jones for this ARC.

book review: Little One, We Knew You'd ComeThis is a cute heartwarming story that is beautifully written and illustrated. We have used 'God gave ___" series by Lisa Tawnbergren for our older one, which is similar to this one. These books are marvelous in touching hearts and make it special both for parents and children. We can see our little ones feel loved and understand that we eagerly looked for them to arrive.

I love the illustrations. This is a great book celebrating the birth of a baby. This is a safe book to read to your child and celebrating the love that you have for their arrival. A beautiful message in this book. Would make a wonderful gift.

This book was so perfect for a surprise pregnancy! The sentiments are so sweet and touching. The illustrations are lovely. The recipient was very touched and can't wait to read it to their child.

My thoughts: this is a sweet picture book about a couple who are expecting a baby and anxiously awaiting for it to arrive. The illustrations are beautifully done and sure to hold a child's interest as a loved one reads the story to them and stresses how much their arrival was looking forward to. It's a nice book to read to a child let them know that they were wanted and loved. Sure to be a favorite in your child's library. Recommended. I was given a copy free and all opinions on my own.
