what a great product.. quick install. perfect for 3-4 long arms and 4 pistol.. highly recommend.

Perfect for long gun bedside storage
This safe is easy to use and quick to access with the RFID tags. The Wi-Fi feature seems a bit gimmicky but I’ll still give it a try. It’s perfect for a quick access bedside long gun safe.

App doesn’t work
Very disappointed in this purchase App doesn’t work and that is the only reason I bought this. You can buy a more secure safe without an app for the same money. Hornady customer service is horrible. They put all the blame on the app developer all the while the consumer gets screwed. I will never buy anything from Hornady.

It’s ok get the bigger one instead 3.5/ stars
It’s a good safe got it for Christmas from the with . I just installed mine after the kids being home for winter break. As I was putting it in I noticed it was dented on the upper right side. I did notice that the door doesn’t unlock all the time probably from The dent and it’s loud when it unlocks . Main reason for getting it is to keep tools away from kids. But if you’re looking for one get the bigger size. The one I have holds a few pistols but only one scary tool with its mag in it. It does it job wish I noticed the dent before I installed it.

Can fit/does well one of the longest/biggest firearms possible in it. Plenty of room, in the individual safe. Like almost too much room.

Excellent safe with consistent reliable access
I really like the Compact Ready Vault - I've had mine for about 2 years now, and it works flawlessly. For me it was all about the RFID lock, and it has never failed to open immediately. I store 2 and a half long guns, 3 handguns, and some spare mags. I don't think I could squeeze anything more in, but I didn't really expect to be able to - it easily holds what it's designed to hold. I did have one problem with the battery compartment when the product first arrived, but I was able to get it fixed with help from the Hornady customer service team - they were easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

It is a perfect gun safe, but it barely fits a rifle and two handguns.
