This is the cocoa that is used for Oreo cookies - that dark, not too sweet, chocolate flavor. I used it to make brownies, and a couple of people really enjoyed it, but several others were put off by the deep, dark flavor. I think it's a good product to blend with other types of cocoa because it adds depth with a concentrated flavor. Also, you cannot beat the quality of the King Arthur Flour products - it's an employee-owned company that provides consistent results in baking and cooking.

Wow, amazing cocoa powder. I’ve been wanting to try this for a while, but nobody carries it on the island. I just made my famous dark chocolate cupcakes, and with this cocoa powder, it is elevated the taste to another level of amazingness.😂

Incredible deep chocolate flavor for my morning shakes with only one teaspoon! I thought it was a little pricey but it will last forever. Great taste, great value!

It’s pretty good and I preferred to Hershey’s Special Dark although more expensive. Darker color and stronger flavor than the Double Dark version. The Double Dark version also has fruity notes that I did not want but this doesn’t have that

My sons graduated Le Cordon Bleu. Excellent chefs. One is somewhat of a baker. He got an executive position on the other side of the country. A piece of my heart ripped away when he moved. Fast forward current day. I am the baker in the fam, finally used the last of the black cocoa my son had purchased while he was living with us. Elated to find it here! Exactly as I needed. Good value for excellent product. Use it in cakes and toll house cookies. Very rich in flavor.
