nice heads up display
Great add on - while there is a very similar display on the desk cycle unit - it is by it's very nature tucked well underneath the desk. This unit sit's beside my monitor and scrolls away with several data points being presented. Easy to install, easy to use, easy to reset - easy on the eyes (it's big enough to see and I don't have to strain my neck and back to look under the desk!)

Solid
Works as advertised. And the Desk Cycle has worked well - at least on the floor at home.I'll hold off bringing the entire package into the office and trying it under my desk until I've absolutely sure I can establish the habit of using it.When I try something new, I don't like to do it with an audience. There have been a few............"Wow this is great, I'm going to do this a lot !!! "ideas that just kind of faded away after a couple of weeks..Now I try stuff out with as small an audience as possible...

Hasn't worked for me, maybe a bad one?!
Dislike! I've tried multiple batteries and it doesn't work unfortunately :( I love the the cycle and I'd love to get a display that worked.

Disappointed
I had to order this because my desk cycle did not come with the display listed. I used this a few weeks and it worked great, now the display is very light and you can hardly see it.

You Gain, You Lose
This is a neat idea, but it would be a great idea if there wasn't a notable trade-off. On the stock display you get two lines of data. One is fixed speed, while the other can cycle through (scan) the other parameters or just be set to a static display of a user selectable item. I typically just set the lower one fixed at time. I've been doing this type of exercise for a few years and the only two things I care about seeing while using one of these are speed and time. But the big display really just achieves size by sacrificing the secondary display and combing everything together. Again, it would be a "great" idea if it was still a dual display. So, if you need bigger numbers to be able to tell what you are seeing, then this is well worth it. But if you are like me and prefer the dual parameter display, then it's a waste of $20. You've been warned. :)To the makers, I'd make the display about 50% taller to support large numbers on two lines, while moving the parameter indicator back to the side like the stock version, with markers on the plastic to show what the current secondary/bottom readout was, and push the control button to the bottom. There's plenty of room. Then you'd have a FANTASTIC optional display.

Works with Sharper Image LI111 Mini Cycle
Sharper Image computer broke along time ago. Its' cable (mono 3.5 mm male jack) is too short to plug into the display unit directly. I matched it with a six foot M/F stereo extension cable, purchased separately. I plugged everything together & it works like a charm. My physical therapist's arm cycle calculates speed in RPM. The Mini Cycle has a 7 inch diameter stroke (3.5 in. cotterless cranks) so I had to do manual calculations to convert RPM to MPH. 75 RPM is approximately 17 MPH on the display unit, also verified against a metronome.

Easy to see
For those who have less than perfect vision - with or without glasses, this larger display is wonderful. Attaches easily.
