I bought this for my cats. I love the added feature of having the "red dot" and also little cute shapes (star, smiley face, mouse). The cats really love chasing after!

This laser pointer is a simple device with a few surprise features. You can select from a simple red dot and some images. I am not sure of the utility of the projected images. A cat would not look at a laser image of a "cat" and say, "there's a picture of a cat". So, I don't see ever using the image feature. Otherwise, it's a decent laser pointer. It does what it does. It feels a little light, so durability might not be there long term, but it's not made for hard use.

Cheaply made! Left my dog sad she really wanted to chase the little red dot. Broke on first use.

Both my cat and dog chase the laser! The flashlight works really well inside, and I love the blue light! It also works nicely. Overall it's one of my favorite things to use when I'm board! Only thing is that the back clip comes of if you move your hand really hard and fast but it's supposed to to charge it and easily goes back on! (This was not a huge problem for me)
