Tuned for the Streamer
There's a saying: better to have a bad camera with great lighting than a great camera with bad lighting. Is this great lighting? Yes. Very good, nay, excellent product. It really shines as part of the overall Razer ecosystem, which I am (Blade 16 2025, Blackshark, Wolverine, Basilisk, Deathstalker, Iskur, Kiyo v2, etc etc. Assembly is crazy simple. Installation instructions reference Synapse 3, so for Synapse 4 things are much more streamlined. There's a module in the dashboard that's used to connect to the WiFi devices instead of under the user avatar. If you want to use the Streaming app instead (which allows for more convenient on the fly control) that's simple as well. Performance: I'd say close to if not quite professional. At full brightness this can overwhelm a streaming space. Mine is at 5% as my space is a bit small, however it's good to know I can grow with these key lights. Chroma is there of course. Strenuous recommendation to turn off the backlight when using it. Otherwise the colors get washed out. Also suggest they be installed in pairs to avoid shadowing on the subject. Really great light with really great flexibility for streamers. Love these.

Bright white light, poor RGB.
Great light but the RGB is weak and really only acts like an accent. The white light is strong and bright. If you want a strong and vivid RGB light this is not the one. Razer has nice style and design but the tech is way behind now.

Works great when there's no bugs
Very responsive and works great with my Razer Stream Controller in switching profiles and colors. Very bright! Only issue is Synapse software not detecting the thing. It's hit and miss on it. Would rate 4 or 5 stars if they fixed the issues.

Great Lighting
This Razer Key Light Chroma: Customizable RGB Light Spectrum - 2800 Lumens Professional Light provides really good light and I love the ability to customize this and pair this with the rest of the Razer Chroma lighting that I already had. My first impression of this product was from unboxing it, everything was packaged securely and arrived without damage which is really great because nothing is more upsetting than the new lighting you ordered arriving to you all busted up and broken which I've had happen to me more than a few times in the past. Setting this up is really simple, and pairing this with the Razer Chroma software or app is equally as simple which makes this a piece of lighting that pretty much anyone can use and figure out. This provides a good amount of light, I know it was designed with content creators or streamers in mind and it certainly would be great for either of those usecases. I've been using this for a couple months now and I can honestly say that the ability to change the brightness or color of the light really makes this a great option for nearly any use, and the light this provides really makes me look good in video calls on Microsoft Teams or Zoom meetings as well as when I'm creating content. Overall, this is one of the easiest to use pieces of lighting that I've ever used and I love how well it pairs with the rest of the Razer Chroma lights that I already own and have been using. This is such an easy to use lighting system that pretty much anyone could figure out how to use it and tweak it to their specific needs. 5/5 stars.

Product returned
I purchased this item because it is advertised as "Interactive Lighting: Achieve next level audience engagement with lighting that reacts to stream events such as subs, donations, and more—settings that can be easily configured via Razer Synapse". After trying to figure it out for 6 hours I contacted Razer customer support who indicated that the Razer Keylight is not supported by the Razer Streamer Companion App. Product returned.

Great light
This is a great light, and I appreciate the possibility to dim it using the app. The only challenge is the refresh frequency: when it's dimmed, the light flickers at a frequency that is picked up by my camera, generating bands on the video. When it's at full power the bands disappear.

Razer's key light is in a different league than no-name key lights
• Quality Control: Razer once again delivers top notch quality. The desk mount arms comes together flawlessly right down to the razer logo on the base of the C-Clamp. • Ease of use: I own a number of no name streaming lights. Some with Bluetooth connectivity, others with no connectivity. None of them have a Wi-Fi option, making razer’s offering clearly superior from the offset. The biggest sell for me with razer’s streaming light is the fact that it’s part of the chroma ecosystem. I have a razer keyboard and mouse, as well as headset and mouse pad. It’s a no brainer for my streaming needs to be able to have all my lights sync up automatically, which is why I got razer key light chroma. Not having to manually adjust the light color and being able to use the light via Razer Synapse on my desktop makes the ease of use here unbeatable. • Standout Features: You are getting the light and the C-clamp all in one neat package. For other key lights I own, I had to buy my C-clamp stands separately. Razer Synapse control too is something you won’t get with any other key light on the market. • Potential Drawbacks: This is a more expensive setup than if you were to get a no-name Bluetooth only streaming key light for maybe 50-80. Plus another fifty for the C-clamp. • Bang for the Buck: You are paying twice as much for razer, but in return you’re getting reliability and Chroma ecosystem integration. You’re also getting higher LED density and size than the cheaper no-name offerings.

Save Your Cash!
Waste of money, there's better value and options "forget" the razer name, go with neewer (it's all the same crap, and for a lot less), you can get 2 lights, (rgb), with a desk mount, for a hundred less or so.. why "assume" this is better cause it's all layered with "Razor" logos..

This product is expensive. On sale I think its more reasonable than at MSRP. Its very bright, the app is simple and easy to use (linking multiple together is a powerful feature). The clamp is extremely strong and frankly the entire experience from opening the box to assembling it was easy, pleasant and its clear this was made with high quality materials. I'd recommend it. Just maybe get it on sale.
