Great clock, Love it
Best clock I’ve ever used. Installed for my brothers irrigation system, so easy to set the days and time, love having the indicator lights, has all the functions he needs. So many clocks are hard to read and set, this is so so easy! Wiring it in is a snap.

Good replacement for an old-school sprinkler controller
The unit arrived as scheduled and was well packed. It was heavier thanI expected, because the power transformer is heavier than expected. You need a sturdy outlet. Unfortunatley, it is an old school 24 VAC transformer, so it is heavy. The unit is nearly a direct replacement for our 30+ year old controller....but with a few new features. I decided not to go with a WiFi enabled unit since they are more expensive, and from the reviews it sounds like the WiFi interface are not robust and connections are often dropped. This unit is easy to wire up, and it worked first time. Some other comments: When reviewing the programming, you can visually see what days each zone is turned on. Nice feature . There is no covering door which makes the control more accessible, but they controls are exposed. (We'll see if the rotary knob get sticky in the garage after a few years.) The solenoid control wires go into the bottom of the unit and aren't well protected. I made a 3D printed housing to channel the wires and keep tem protected. Finally, since there is no cover door, there is not an easy place to put the zone watering schedule. Otherwise, this unit is a good replacement sprinkler controller. A good buy for the price point.

Easy Installation - Nice Features
Lighting took out my Hunter irrigation system controller so it was time to upgrade to a better controller. The Hunter controller was very odd to program as well. The Rain Bird was very easy to install. More over it was very easy to program. Plus, the features are well thought out. If you want to run your normal watering program on an "off cycle" day this is very easy to do with the "Water All Zones Now" button. Pressing this button will water each programmed zone sequentially. Since I don't set the schedule to water the yard on a Saturday or Sunday due to the fact that I usually do yard work on those days, there are times when I do want to water on one of those days. A simple press of this button will easily accomplish watering of each programmed zone. And the "Rain Delay" button is extremely nice. Since I do not have a rain sensor I rely on myself to turn off the sprinkler system when rain is on the way. By selecting the dial to the Rain Delay function, the controller will belay watering for up to 72 hours. When the knob is in this function simply use the up arrow to delay watering in 12 hour intervals up to 72 hours. Then move knob back to the Auto Run position. The screen will display the delayed watering hours that were selected. This is a nice function for delaying watering due to rain as you don't have to remember to turn the system back on. My previous controller I had to turn off the controller when rain is coming but I had to remember to turn back on the controller. Well, that didn't always happen. There are other nice features but I will not mention every single item that I like about the controller. So far I have not encountered anything that I do not like. My application is fairly simple, as I only have 5 watering zones at my home, so I don't demand too much from the controller. It gets the job done and is very easy to use.

I really like it so far.
It was easy to install and program. And I love how easy it is to customize Days and Run Times individually for each zone. The thing I think I like most is the two different Manual Run buttons, one that does all zones and one to do an individual zone. My 30 year old Rainbird didn't have the individual zone option. On the old controller, if I wanted to just run zone 3, I would have to cycle the manual button to zone 3 and when zone 3 finished, I would have to turn the controller off, otherwise, zones 4 and 5 would run. With this new controller, I just have to turn the dial to 3 and hit the button for 1 manual zone. There are two things that I wish were different with the individual zone option. (1) Each time you select an individual zone to run manually, the run time defaults to 10 minutes. I would prefer it default to the same time set for the full automatic option. (2) Lets say I want to run zone 3 manually for 30 minutes. I turn the rotary knob from Auto to 3 and press the button for individual zone then set the zone for 30 minutes and zone 3 runs for 30 minutes. Now I can go eat a ham sandwich and take a nap. But being that I'm old, there is a good chance I will forget to turn the knob back to Auto. My sprinklers are programmed to run Automatically while I'm at work. I might not realize my knob is still set to 3 until the grass starts dying. But even with those two minor issues, it's still 5 Stars for me.

When you buy this product to use in India, you should separately purchase 230VAC to 110V AC step-down adaptor (power supply unit) or a 24VAC Power supply unit which can directly connect to the controller . The Controller in put power is 24V AC . This Product comes with 110VAC 60Hz to 24V AC 60Hz stepdown adapter which will suit for US distribution . This controller having self battery back up feature, in case of power failure the settings / date will not change is an advantage from previous version . Easy to set and user friendly controller .
