Incredible sound, retro/modern/sleek appeal, excellent menu system. Exceptional value for the price
I can't say enough about this device! It is everything I was hoping for and much, much more. The sound quality is exceptional, with a downward-pointing woofer delivering incredible bass! The menu system is very well done, with everything self-explanatory. I absolutely love the combination of a traditional FM radio (for over-the-air reception) and an Internet-connected radio. Literally thousands of possibilities are at your fingertips. I am enjoying the heck out of this unit - the best under-$50-purchase I have made in a very long time. You won't be disappointed in this unit. Very clean, good heft, excellent user interface. Get one of your own!

Decent internet radio
A cheap internet radio what more do you want. Well wish it had presets, but sound is good. Navigation could be better, but still like this little radio.

All this for sub $50? Gor for It!
I’ve used various forms of internet radios for the past, give or take, 20 years or so. In my case, it’s more or less a necessity. I’ve in a condo made of concrete walls, ceiling and floors. Fat chance I could catch a regular radio signal with a standard antenna. My last internet radio was a no-name tube that required users enter the URL of the station they wanted to listen to. It worked, but wasn’t easy to program and had middling sound. It finally gave up and that left me searching for a new radio. Seems that progress has led to a boatload of options ranging from overpriced name-brand models to lesser knowns that offer quality at a decent price.Friends told me I could use my tablet to play internet radio and get a couple bluetooth speakers to provide the sound.Well, that didn’t work. As I soon discovered, most bluetooth speakers sound muffled or muddy and, eventually, they ran out of power. If you’re a background listener like me, this just isn’t an option.Enter the Auna Silver Star Mini, a model I chose mainly because the price was less than 50% of the next cheapest model.Yes, I know that cost isn’t everything and shouldn’t a sole consideration; however, my eventual decision was based upon overall reviews. No matter where I looked, Amazon or elsewhere, reviews were pretty much favorable. This $50 radio was beating out models costing 2 to 4 times as much. So, I took the plunge.Boy, was I surprised. This little box can produce some sound. Room filling sound that can be modified to your liking by the onboard equalizer.I could go on about setup and the like, but you’ve probably read those reviews and seen those videos, so let’s cut to the chase by listing pros and cons:Pros:* For just 8 watts, this can pump out some volume from one speaker and a downward facing woofer.* It’s compact. A standard, big number alarm clock is probably bigger.* Well made. True, it’s vinyl covered pressed wood pulp, but it’s done nicely. It’s got enough heft that it doesn’t shake and rattle at even higher volumes.* Comes with a remote that actually controls functions. I’ve seen a few that control volume and not much else.* Even has a built-in weather app. Yep, it’ll tell you the time and weather, complete with icons indicating stormy or sunny weather, humidity, etc.* You can control it via the front panel, the remote or best yet - the AirMusic app. Go to your tablet or phone’s app center and you’ll find the iOS or Android version of AirMusic sitting there. Here you’ll find thousands of listings for any conceivable music or podcast format you can think of, a probably a few you haven’t thought of.* When on standby (fancy word for “off”) it converts to a standard alarm clock with a weather app, as stated above.* Although it doesn’t state it in the instructions, there must be an internal battery to hold information, either that or it keeps the internet settings remotely. I had to unplug the unit and move it to another room. Got interrupted on the way and didn’t get it plugged back in for at least 5 minutes. No sweat, it found my internet signal again and remembered all my settings.* You can stream music via bluetooth from your tablet or phone. If you really want to, you can also listen to regular FM music via the built-in antenna (no AM, though).Cons:* Users have the option of manual setting the clock or using automatic, internet based settings. Pass on the latter, it didn’t work for me. No matter what, it stated I was some time zone that was 6 hours ahead of mine.* It has a headphone jack and bluetooth, but it cannot connect to bluetooth headphones. Oddly enough, you can add a bluetooth broadcaster, but they cost more than this radio alone!* Apparently this is the end of the line for the Auna single speaker unit. Once gone, you’ll have to go the larger twin speaker version with CD player and a price that’s nearly twice as much.In short, this is a great unit for those who, like me, need background music on a budget. If you need a cheap internet radio, go for it!

Very good sound, awesome selection, manually configurable
This small unit sounds really good - not audiophile quality, but I use it in my home office and it sounds great!. The internet radio part is really cool - you can get stations from across the world, so if you want to hear a soccer game in the UK, a football game in another city, or just local news from somewhere different, there's a station available. This is one gadget I really think is underpriced - you get a great unit, seems to be built well, with thousands of stations available. Oh, and it works as a Bluetooth speaker as well, so you can connect it to a PC or phone to stream!

Description du produit inexacte
Comme l'ont rapporté d'autres utilisateurs, la description du produit fait état de "rechargeable" et de "5h d'autonomie", ce qui n'est absolument pas le cas. Ce "détail" mis à part, cette petite radio offre un son juste parfait.

Impeccable
