Really Huge & Suitable for our labrador. So much room for him to really stretch out and lay down & turn around . Has his bed , toys in . Head room no problem . Crate is very sturdy , he wanders in & out at his leisure . Easy to put up . Great value too . We went for for the 1 door , as previously never used 2 door .

One of our cats had an operation and had to have cage rest for 7 weeks! Bought this large one as it has to hold litter tray and food and water and biscuits and it is just the right size. Well made, strong and easy to open and close plus it has two doors and it is not expensive, and a big plus is when it is finished being used it can be folded up and stored in the shed. I must say that Amazon basic's stuff always seem to be well made and fit for use.

I bought this ‘Amazon basics’ crate in the XXL size (48inches). Firstly, don’t think ‘basics’ means it’s not the best quality because it’s exceptionally good and brilliant value for money. The 48” size is truly humongous and even though I’d measured the dimensions before buying I wasn’t prepared for how big it would be. The crate, which arrives collapsed (thankfully!) weights 48 lb or 21.7kg, so it’s very heavy. It assembles in under 2 mins and no tools are required. The door catches are a dream, smooth and secure and a divider is also included. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. Because of the size Amazon delivered this item using Arrow XL, who I’d not heard of before. They were amazing! Loads of pre-delivery status updates, a two hour slot given the evening before l, live tracking available on the day and with a pre-delivery phone call when the courier is about half hour away and the crate was delivered within the notified time. Who could ask for better service??

Bought a few of these over the years for new dogs. They are well made and provide plenty of space. But remember some pups like cages are not to big for them. It makes them feel safer. The new handles on both the doors is a Great improvement. You can also buy covers that you can make the cage a little den for them. They love this. And in winter help keep the warm and out of drafts. The dogs can still she out due to mesh sections that allow air and light in. We also bit a memory foam mat for the bottom of the cage. Then the dogs bed or blankets on top. Our dogs love when it’s time for bed as they each have their own cage. They say never to use the cage as a punishment, I totally agree with that. The dogs should be willing to go in the cage knowing it’s their little space and they can get peace. Not see the cage as a jail.

Huge crate (XL), comes with a panel to section it off so it can grow with your puppy/dog. Is the right size for our retriever. Very well made and the dog cannot open the latch. Not had any issues with chewing (yet), it seems pretty strong. It is heavy though, so not that easy to move around/transport but it does fold flat. It wouldn’t fit in the boot of the car as too tall.

Bought in an emergency and arrived as promised the next day. I have 11 dogs all sleeping in xl crates, and this one surpasses them all. Very strong wires, not the usual thin stuff, well made, with a different type of lock to the usual. It also comes with a divider. It has the usual carrying handle, though, I can't imaging anyone lifting and moving an xl crate by the handle, especially one as heavy as this one, but it's there so that you can't say you haven't got one!! I prefer a metal tray, to the plastic tray supplied, but this looks sturdy enough. Easy to put up, with no sharp edges to cause injuries to man nor beast.For the price, you can't go wrong with this one.

This is a great crate. The build quality is sturdy and the size works well for our Staffordshire terrier giving plenty of room to lie down and turn around. Having doors placed both as the end and at the side leaves good options when deciding where to place the create for easy access. It is nice and light but still very strong, I am able to lift and move it without much trouble to clean it. The removable tray simply slides out from one side for an easy clean. Comfort level is fine with or without additional cushioning because the plastic tray doesn’t get cold and the mechanism to secure the doors is better than our previous crate from a well know pet shop. I have yet to encounter a pet shop wore crate that opens and closes as easily and securely as this one. I would definitely recommend and found this good value for money when comparing to previous crate purchases.

Very happy with this dog crate , nice and big. Perfect fit for my German shepherd who is due to have an operation and will need plenty of rest while recovering .The locking system on the handle is really good and escape proof . Good value for the money , ordered the XXL so she would have plenty of room.
