Very good!
These vegan bars are high in protein and very satisfying. I like to eat mine with a banana. Delicious! They are great for people with active life styles and don’t want a lot of sugar, fat and calories.

Good flavors but cause gas
Good flavors and variety of flavors, especially if you’re trying to avoid dairy. The only downside is that they make me pretty gassy for 12-24 hrs after I eat them (lots of fiber).

GROSS!
When one reads such encouraging reviews about an item, it gives one a lot of hope that the product will be good. It’s a good feeling. Of course, the polar opposite of that feeling is the one of deflation that one experiences when they observe the reality that so many people are so deluded by other interests and influences that they completely ignore the cold hard fact that the thing they have praised is a lump of garbage. That’s what I experienced with this product. Of course I wasn’t expecting a candy bar or some delicious snack that I would crave fortnightly. I did, however, expect something that was at least palatable, but these things are nearly inedible. The only thing “Chocolate Mint Cookie,” “Sprinkled Chocolate Donut,” or “Chocolate Salted Caramel” about these things are the pictures depicted on their wrappers. In reality, these things are barely distinguishable from one other in appearance and in flavor, and they all have one striking thing in common: They’re disgusting. The “dipped” aspect is what anyone would expect. A semi-sweet, dark chocolate coating that is not unlike any other protein bar that has chocolate as an ingredient. The insides (I won’t use the word “filling,” because that’s not what this is) seem to be a flavorless substance with a chalk/corn starch consistency that has been packed together without even a drop of moisture. It is virtually impossible to chew and swallow without first filling one’s mouth with a liquid to moisten the bite of Sahara that has just been placed into the oral entryway. The bar could easily be crumbled back into a powdery substance, leading one to believe that the product is simply plant-based protein powder packed tightly into a tiny brick before being quickly coated in the thinnest layer of no-dairy dark chocolate. Perhaps the most uneatable aspect of the whole product is the $3/bar price tag, which renders this barely tolerable item essentially indigestible.I would feel horrible feeding these to inmates living in our prison system, and I am a very strong advocate for capital punishment, which should illustrate my final feelings on the product.

Imagine a dessert bar with a lot of complete Protein
I LOVE these protein bars. They contain a lot of complete protein with all essential amino acids, they're lower in calories than most bars this size with this much protein and they contain a great amount of fiber.Note: The fiber is soluble fiber and I DO wish these contained insoluble fiber. No Cow has a wide variety of flavors and I've never had one that I didn't like but I'll just write about the three that are in this pack. One of the bars is covered in a thin layer of chocolate and this bar is more firm than the other two. The inside is similar to a peanut butter candy bar. It's not as soft as peanut butter but it taste like a candy bar which a hint of liquor-like flavor after taste due to the sugar alcohol included in the ingredients but that didn't bother me much because it was similar to how marzipan tastes but with peanut flavor instead of almonds as marzipan has.The next bar is similar to a peanut butter cookie dough with chocolate chips. This is my favorite of all three. It's very moist and extremely soft. The consistency is truly like chocolate chip peanut butter cookie dough in the shape of the bar with a ton of protein. I try to eat this one slowly in order to savor it but it's difficult because it tastes like a naughty dessert. I usually want another one after I finish this one but I make myself wait the 20 minutes it takes for the message that I'm full to reach my brain so that I don't eat more of them. Your body can only use 20 grams of protein at once sitting so eating more than one would be a waste, in my opinion.Lastly, is similar to the cookie dough texture in the bar above but it's a chunky peanut butter bar. It has chopped pieces of real peanuts throughout the peanut butter bar. Keep in mind that this bar and the cookie dough bar are NOT covered in chocolate as many assume when buying protein bars. Though very good, I'd say this was my least favorite of the three only because I would have liked some form of chocolate inside or outside of it rather than being peanut throughout. Please note that I still really like and would buy this bar again but if I have to rate all three bars, this one would be last.

Taste is terrible but hey fiber and protein !
As someone who consistently has bought these for years... I admit these are awful tasting. All flavors are pretty terrible but some are less so than others. (Dipped peanut butter and the Dipped chocolate Donut flavors are the only flavors I would "recommend") I only eat these because they are friendly for my allergies, are low carb, no sugar, 20g of protein, 18g+ of fiber AND filling. And that's a really tough ask for all of that so I can't blame the taste for being so bad. They are very dry and have that chalky texture, and a "fake" sugar alcohol taste. And an awful aftertaste that I cannot explain. I have eaten SOOO many brands of protein bars throughout the years but this is the only one that checks so many boxes for me, that I put up with the taste.
