USB C ADAPTER to 3.5mm

Works exactly as advertised, lets me plug my headset into a USB port easily. Plug and play with no drivers, compact and sturdy build. Good value and useful for laptops or PCs without a headphone jack.

This is the miracle cure for my headphone jack on my laptop no longer working! Very happy with this! Sounds great, easy to use (make sure headphones plugged right into the jack socket or it'll sound like you're underwater).

This adapter works really well apart from one problem. If you only want it to connect headphones or earpieces for listening then these work really well indeed and the sound quality is excellent. However, if you want to use them to connect into an amplifier or powered speakers they may not work properly. I wanted one for outputting music from a Raspberry Pi into an amplifier and while it seemed to be working well, after 30 seconds or so the sound went distorted and slowed down. I found that it did work reliably if I used a Y splitter to connect the amplifier and a pair of earpieces in parallel - presumably the earpieces were providing the low impedance load required for it to work properly. Admittedly this is a rather specialist application and may not be a problem in other circumstances but you will need to be aware of this.

Works great

This is a 6" braided cable, with a USB-A connector at one end, and a headphone socket at the other. On my Linux laptop (Fedora 42 KDE) it means I can listen to audio, despite the built-in headphone socket being damaged. The audio quality is excellent, with no hiss or obvious distortion. When I plugged it in the first time, the audio was broken up, but this cleared quickly - possibly it was trying to install a driver for the device at the same time. Thereafter there have been no problems. I'm not entirely sure about the durability of the device - I'm planning to treat it very crefully.

Nor quite what I expected

I never write reviews. Great product. I use beyerdynamic headphones with an amplifier, thought I yanked my cable and broke it, turns out my PC headphone jack was wonky, this came in clutch very fast, and sound quality is great without an amp until I replace my current one. If you think you've snapped your headphone jack / port on pc, try this cheap solution first, may save you a lot of money.

Does not work as intended, only plays audio if at a certain angle, reduced audio quality, and the adapter didn't fit the cord which is measured to be the same. Yeah, avoid this one, get another adapter from someone else.
