Eggcellent
This year was my first attempt making ovos de Páscoa. The silicone molds were incredibly helpful! The eggs turned out really well for my first time and they were easy to peel off the thin layer of chocolate without damaging the shell

Very good results!
These molds are excellent! Tips: plan on two coats of chocolate. First coat, pour melted chocolate in and roll around to cover inside of mold. Let the excess drip back into bowl. Chill in freezer 5 minutes. Second coat I used a 1” soft paintbrush and did a fairly heavy coat around the edges. Back to freezer 5 minutes. The second coat really helped to prevent the egg from cracking. When ready to assemble, just slightly melt edges on warm skillet. I used piping bag of chocolate to “glue” them together.

Great for some Easter birthday fun!
We were celebrating 3 birthdays and Easter at the same time with the family so I decided to mold hollow eggs, fill them with things and put them on the cake to be smashed with the little hammers. The hammers came in 2 pieces, I hit glued the heads on but should have used more hot glue than I did as a couple of them came off in the chocolate egg smashing chaos. The molds are easy to use, I melted the chocolate in the microwave, filled the molds, made sure to tilt it to cover all of the surfaces and pour the excess out. My tip for using these, once you fill them and pour out the excess, put the half molds face down on a metal cookie sheet and put it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes. Once you take them out, peel gently and not only will you have sturdy eggs to stick together, you will also have strong edges without chipping. Mu family loved the cake and smashing the eggs with the included hammers and it made for a lot of birthday fun.

Surprise eggs
I made these eggs stuffed with candy and toys. The kids and adults, that received them, had so much fun breaking them open!

Easy to remove
My son loved having dinosaur eggs at his birthday party and the egg ended up being the perfect size to hold one dinosaur cupcake. I found that doing two coats of chocolate helped make sure it didn’t pool too much at the bottom but also ensured thick enough edges so they didn’t break when being removed from the molds. Very happy with this product.

Why Brown??
These worked great! Easy to clean and I’m so grateful they have a little ledge on the bottom to hold them on the table instead of them rolling all over the place. Only complaint is, why brown? It would have been easier to see if I missed coating a bit if it weren’t the same color as the chocolate I was using.

I was nervous to use these molds, however they were the best ones I've used. Easy to pour the melted chocolate and line the egg and easy to get out of the mold. We'll worth the money!
