Pillow Pets Zebra Glow Pet 18"

This is another nice pillow pet. Well constructed, very soft, and the colors are nice. This one was quite a bit brighter than the other one I ordered a few years ago (the unicorn). I'm surprised my daughter can sleep with her head on it, it's so bright she's got to be able to see the light with her eyes closed. I think it's because the lights are closer to the surface of the pillow. You can actually feel the little hard LED lights just under the surface. Still a great pillow, but I expected the lights to be centered in the pillow like the previous one I ordered.

My daughter wanted this Glow Pet ever since we saw it in the store. We ordered it from Amazon because it was cheaper. I was a little nervous because some people said that it wasn't the real deal. The product came in what appears to be original packaging and the quality of the product seems just as good as the store version, so I would say they are the same. It has been working for over a month with no problems!

We bought this last year for Christmas (along with a Turtle Pillow Pet). Both broke within a couple months. The Zebra only has a couple lights within the pillow that work occasionally. The Turtle stopped working completely. Obviously we tried using fresh batteries and that wasn't the issue. The pillows are a good size and are soft. That's all they have going for them anymore. I would never recommend wasting your money on these.

My daughters both have a glow pet. One was purchased at Walmart. The other one from here. They are not the same, this pet is not the same size or feel. You can feel lumps (light bulbs) and wires under the fur. This is not the case with the one from Walmart. This pet was cheaply made, I do not think that it is a real pillow pet.

As some reviews said, I wonder why the quality of this is SO poor. We purchased the Unicorn one in a store and it is nice. The 'fur' was soft, the lights were inside the fur enough that you couldn't feel them, the battery compartment had the screw that stays in the lid itself. This Zebra from Amazon you could feel the lights through the fur, the fur itself was shedding horribly (my two year old had a mouth full of it!) and the screw was NOT a safety one - it comes out of the lid completely. We returned this as the quality is so poor. And then unfortunately the Unicorn one stopped working within two weeks of purchase. We're going to stay away from Glow Pets.

This is my 3rd one. Love the soft light & timer function. But different lights go out fairly quickly.

This is cute, but the wires and everything come apart really easily. now only a small section of the lights come on when you push the button... I don't think I'd buy it again

Gifts for orphans! They loved them!

This was purchased as a gift for my daughter for christmas. When she was going canping with her guide unit for the first time she was expressing she was nervous about the dark. This kept her company and made her smile. It has a sleep timer on it so it won't continuously stay lit and burn out batteries. Great little companion.
