Some reviews said they did not receive CE Smith parts and were not packaged in the plastic carry case. I ordered one hub and did receive genuine CE Smith parts. The hub installed easily and was pre lubed. No complaints at all.I realized I needed to replace another hub so I reordered the next day. Again I received CE Smith replacement parts. I know it’s more expensive, but replacing the whole hub is so much easier than doing a rebuild. The way Smith packages the hub makes it easy to have a spare when traveling,

These are CE Smith hubs and each came in a plastic carrying case. They are fully greased, and come with lug nuts x5, a cotter pin, and end cap. The end cap is closed so if you have ez lube axles/spindles with the grease zirc on the end, you will need to buy ez lube caps separately.

Comes inside a nice little handy case that you can use to keep a spare. Its was easy to drop right on.My only gripe is it doesnt come with a new cotter pin, nut, or washer. Its not only thing brand, but I feel like if you're buying a complete kit, it should come with the whole shibang. I ended up having to run around a bit to a couple stores to find a washer that would work.

Quality product! I did have to pack the outer bearings with a little grease but otherwise a quality hub and value for the money! Mine did come in the plastic carry cases dont know if it's because I ordered the galvanized hubs? Or not? Been reading that a lot of orders aren't coming in the plastic carry case. And these hubs have a zerk fitting for the inner bearing.

This is exactly what I expected, and got me out of a bad situation quick. The hub was exactly as described, and even included a case. I will definitely buy another one as a spare for the road, and it’ll pack away nicely in the back of my van in the case.

First of all these hubs look fine, however, the bearings are not packed in anyway. Some … thru the bearings in and just squirted grease in the hub. They will need to be pulled apart, properly packed with grease and reassembled. Second of all CE Smith claims these are packed with Kendall SHP grease. They are not, the grease is green not red. Do yourself and favor and buy hubs without bearings or “pre-greased hubs” lol. Total garbage. I would assume if you did nothing to these prior to install you would have an annoying, extremely dangerous and expensive situation on your hands within 25 miles. Bearings are Chinese. Team it ain’t 5 stars.

Will see how long they remain water resistant for. They have been installed on a boat trailer for salt water. Very suprised with packaging, they did not come in a cardboard box or anything. They came packed in a Plastic, blow molded case that perfectly fit the hubs. Very impressed.

Came in a very nice hard case. Unit seems more substantial than the one my trailer originally came with. Hub was nicely packed with a ton of grease. Also has a grease nipple on the back side. Installation was super fast reusing the old castle nut and washer and the new cotter pin. New lug nuts came with the kit as well. Used the case to keep one of my old hubs as a spare.
