Bin zufrieden

Great starter
Bought these to set up terrarium for my kids. One has isopods the other millipedes. Great starter terrarium kit. A little difficult and time-consuming to put together but all in all fun little project.

Very clear and great value for the size
I took some silicone to waterproof around the bottom edges and created a neat habitat for a couple hermit crabs. The paper peeling was a pain to peel off each piece but left the acrylic nice and clear, scratch free to view your pet. There is obviously nicer acrylic enclosures out there, that’s held together by strong magnets vs rubber bands or all one piece but if you want to put a little extra into it by sealing it yourself and don’t mind how the edges line up you can still create a nice habitat without spending a lot of money.

It’s good for an emergency but the locks do not work.
This was used for a small worm snake. It would’ve been fine if it weren’t for the locks. These need to be worked on. They loosen after each use & then the locks wont even move or work when they’re fully tightened. Each time you open the door you have to fidget with each lock in order for it to be loose enough to operate as a lock but tight enough to latch. Have to find a happy medium which in turn makes it not secure for anything more than a average size spider or praying mantis. There are some decent sizes gaps at the door as well so a tiny spider or snake could absolutely escape. If the locks we’re redone this would work for some critters. It LOOKS good. Appealing for sure. Yeah the tape was difficult to get off but the trick is to take your time & get it all off in one piece. If you tear it off in sections you will def make scratches trying to peel it. The rubber bands works perfectly to hold it all together. That part works perfectly. Just beware if you are planning to use for something strong or something tiny. I attached a video showing you how the locks loosen after each use & how they’re too tight to even move if they’re tightened fully. Then attached a photo showing how big the gaps are at the door. Keep in mind this thing isn't warped at all so those gaps didn’t show up after the fact.
