Adult Sized Venus Flytrap - Fly Trap - (Dionaea Muscipula) Carnivorous Plant 3 inch Pot

Little nervous at first when my plant didn’t arrive on time but the owner was fast to reply to my concerns. With UPS making the late delay (not the owner) the plant arrived a few days late ~ unsure of the condition if the plant would survive the long journey or not ~The owner decided to fedex me another plant.When the original order did arrive the plant was a little weak BUT with the step by step instructions on how to handle & plant my Venus flytrap the next day the plant looked so much stronger ~ it’s important to read the directions thoroughly. I’m excited to watch my Venus flytraps grow this summer. If this is something you’re considering, please buy it from Joel. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy and have fun!!!

My VFT came quickly and as expected. It came with detailed instructions that were a bit overwhelming, but very helpful. The plant came with everything needed for set up. Follow the directions carefully.I purchased mine then had to go out of town unexpectedly. It went w/o water for about 48 hours. The VFT didn't like that and I lost some of the stems. It seems to be growing new stems now. Fingers crossed. I will purchase another one if this one doesn't thrive.

I’m going to start off by saying I have only ever shopped for carnivorous plants locally so this is the first time I have received one in the mail.The way this plant was packaged was interesting but seemed to be done with care. The pot and moss needed came with it but the plant was in a plastic bag. In the bag the plant had moss and a wet paper towel around the roots that was still damp when I received it. Though it was a strange way to receive a plant I don’t think that there would have been a better way without soaking the box.The VFT I received has five heads one of which was dying when I received it. It is a small plant but that is expected with VFTs. Of the other four there were three that were open and one that was closed. All of the heads are red which is indicative of a healthy plant. One of the leaves also is black and dying so that leaves me to have some concern. Though in the past I have learned that VFT can be a bit unforgiving so travel was probably hard for it.The instructions that came with the VFT and care were clear and concise. There was a diagram on how to repot it so that’s good for beginners.I will try and remember to update in a few weeks to see if the plant survives the shock from transport.For any future buyers be sure that you have distilled water at home for the arrival of this plant. I had some for my other plants but if I didn’t I would have had to rush to grab some to soak the moss.

The plant arrived in excellent shape. The roots and rhizome were neatly wrapped in damp moss with a damp paper towel holding that in place. It came packaged separately from the basket and planting medium. There were several open traps and a baby which was just emerging. You can zoom in on the photo to see the baby more clearly. That seems to indicate sturdy healthy growth. My daughter and I love this beautiful plant.In anticipation of the arrival of our new pet, I designed and 3D Printed a new container. The net/basket fits perfectly into the Mario Pipe. The top, wider section of the planter hides the net/basket. There is extra space at the bottom as a reservoir for water.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The shipping was very fast, and plant was packed with extreme care. Everything comes in the box that you need to get started. They are tiny right now, but so healthy looking. Now it’s on me to keep them alive lol. I recommend the seller completely. I will be buying my future plants and any supplies needed from them.

Very cute plant. Everything arrived fine. Died very fast (less than 3 weeks). They close but nothing happens to the bus and they opened back up

Plant was wrapped poorly! Fell apart when I put it in the pot! A lot of money for a plant that fell apart!

This plant was obviously packaged with care. I am appreciative of all of the detailed instructions and additional care information that came with it. This is definitely one of those times where I didn’t know as much as I thought I did about caring for the VFT.
