I love them. so far, they seem sturdy. I bought black, so i don't know if there are colors. they are very elegant and function as stated. they are minimally bright, however, i did not want bright lights in that part of the garden, so they are not intrusive.

Very impressive. Put these on my new deck for the flame look. I live in the mtns and these have lasted through two winters and still light up nicely. The plastic will break due to them not being super durable but look great and easy to install with all size bases included.

I have this at the ends of our deck steps and on the fence dividing our yard. They create a really nice flame like effect that adds a nice atmosphere to the area. In the summer they last most of the night but the longer nights in winter mean they’re off before midnight, which isn’t the worst since we aren’t out there much anyway. These aren’t lights that are going to provide meaningful illumination, they are decorative, but I like having them on while still keeping the yard dark at night. They stay put on the posts even without screwing them in unless there’s a particularly windy storm or a squirrel runs across one knocking it off, but a small screw in the prestige’s hole solves that easily enough. My only minor complaint is that since I was putting them on wooden 4x4 posts I didn’t need any of the included adapters which is quite a bit of plastic to just have to toss in the trash. I’ll try to update the review with better pictures in the summer showing the lights

Great product. Easy to install. Works as advertised. I bought the 8 pack and love the flickering flame look on my deck posts. I paid these with LED solar strip lights along the base of the deck and it's a beautiful look. They are in direct sunlight the majority of the day. The only negative is the battery charge does not last all night. Seems to get about 6 to 7 hours of light before they go out. Overall though satisfied with the purchase and love the look

Bright. EASY! Just opened the box, pulled the tab, sanded the edges of the top of my 4x4 fence posts, put them in and when it got dark, they lit up! Trial run on two of these while we finish the rest of the fence. They look great!

GENERAL: I am pleased with the appearance and match with our white posts and rails. They have the perfect amount of light for an 8’x11’ deck with 6’ set of steps - 11 posts in total. The post lights came in a box with all of the parts required for multiple post sizes. The lights and adapters were well packed, and the box also includes screws to attach the adapters to the post and connect the lights to the adapters. I have 4”x4” PVC-wrapped, wood 4x4s (which are actually 3.5”x3.5”). It was easy to put the right combination of pieces together for it to fit our posts. You need to charge in full sun at least a day before use. The first night of light was at least 9 hours and remained bright; still on when we woke up. The lights don’t turn on until AFTER dusk - you could still see, but it was 45 min after sunset until the first lights came. The lights will all turn on at different times because sensors and darkness varies across deck. Product basically recommends removing during winter snow periods (i.e. save old post caps). Also, they will last longer if turned off during prolonged periods of non-use (long vacation, etc). PROBLEMS: BE CAREFUL and ensure the alignment of the screw holes through all of the post adapters. WARNING, the wood screws that attach the adapter to the post are VERY poorly made; they feel as if they are made of aluminum. First time, I aligned screw holes and started screwing to post, and the screw head stripped. I removed and drilled a traditional pilot hole through the adapter, post PVC wrapping, and wood. Took me three attempts screwing by hand to find a bit big enough to keep the screw head from stripping. The drilled hole was the same width of the screw threads (not shaft), so I could push the screws all of the way into the wood with no need to screw. ADVICE: buy your own screws that can withstand installation. Once the adapters are installed, hold off on screwing the light on the adapters - just let them sit on adapter until you are sure they are charged and working. The instructions tell you to let them charge in the bright sun for at least 10-12 hours. These items ARE NOT in the instructions: The lights don’t charge if the battery tab remains installed. There is also a power switch that should remain OFF until there is a four day. NOTE: There is a POWER SWITCH next to the battery. It is covered with rubber (for weather resistance), and it is not obvious how it works. The switch (under rubber) is a small slide switch, and it is impossible to see if it is on or off. It comes in “OFF” position. You will have to use your fingernail to push down the rubber far enough so it is smushed down to the physical slide switch. When you change the position, you will need to push the smushed rubber cover awkwardly to move the switch position. LIGHT FAILED TO WORK (1 DOA). I bought two boxes for 12 lights - one more than I needed. One of the lights was DOA. You might want to over order to give you some replacements for DOA and early failure.

these things are awesome. i waited to leave a review until i had them for like a year. but these things go at least a solid 6 hours after the sun goes down. and the pictures don't do them justice. they are phenomenal. beautiful, looks just like flames. i've seen no sign of wear or battery degeneration whatsoever. and i'm the kind of guy that only leaves a review unless he's really happy or livid so that should tell you something

These are excellent, bought 2 packs for my deck posts. There is a reason people stare at bonfires; these mimic that same light. Have to be in spots where there is no overhang/ eavestrough. Amazing how they charge with barely any sun. We have a bank of huge trees and even so these charge no problem! Have had for several months and hoping they do well in winter with the cold

The lights add a special decor to my deck. I love the flame glowing in the dark. My only reservation is they loose power after 4hrs.

Perfect, love the optional end fittings, though I didn’t need them, i think it is a wonderful idea. They work just fine! I occasionally have to clean them off (bird poop), but otherwise gorgeous. I love the black , which matches my black metal posts, and looks like it is apart of them. - strong wind sometimes blows them off. But i could easily remedy this if it becomes an issue. After looking around, they are a great price! (I’ve had them for over a month as of writing this)
