This review is best read to the tune of "The Grand Old Duke of York"The laboratory lifting jack, it holds my specimen.It lifts it up to the top of it's will.And lowers it down again.And when it is up, it is up.And when it is down, it is down.When it is only half way up, it is neither up nor down.Sorry, I couldn't help myself.Seriously though...This lab lift is well designed, works well, holds where it's set. Tight enough to hold, but not enough to hinder smooth action.I use it in my macro studio to lift my specimen stage for positioning the subject in front of the lens.

Fantastic tool to straighter our warped wooden deck rail
Absolutely worked perfectly to jack up and straighten a badly warped pressure treated wood deck rail. Once the runner is straightened we can then block it permanently with a wooden block to prevent this from occurring again.
