Wasn not expecting this to be very good quality because it was so cheap but it is very good.

I purchased these to use as a back-ups in case I in-advertently damage my regular jar sealers. These jar sealers are top of the line and designed to enhance the vacuum sealing experience.

My FoodSaver has an accessory tube that you can pull out. But the tube's nozzle is too small to make a tight seal with jar sealer. So, I cut one end off the tube that came with the jar sealer and used it as an adapter. That works great!I noticed that I wasn't able to get much air out of the jars at first. I tested this by putting a marshmallow in a jar and sucking out the air. The marshmallows would only expand a little bit before the canning lid would stick to the sealer and block the air from escaping. I fixed that by taping some folded paper to the inside of the sealer, as shown in the photo. I used pieces of a cereal box folded into three layers. That made a huge difference! When I tested with marshmallows again, they expanded a lot more.

THEY CONNECT WELL WITH MY FOODSAVER, THE PROBLEM IS USING THEM WITH OLDER SERIES MASON TYPE JARS, INCLUDING ATLAS, PRESTO, BALL AND KERR BRANDS. THE WIDER COLLAR ON OLDER JARS SEEMS TO PREVENT THESE CAPS FROM GOING ON FAR ENOUGH TO FORM A TIGHT SEAL FOR THE VACUUM PROCESS. IT WORKS IF YOU USE 2 METAL CAPS STACKED TOGETHER. HOWEVER THEY WORK O.K. WITH NARROW FLANGED JARS.

I had to flip the blue silicon gasket to the position shown and use the accessory hose that came with my Foodsaver then all worked well. The all grey accessory hose that came with the product wouldn't seal.Seems durable so far and am satisfied with purchase.

I have a v2222 Foodsaver, after some reading and searching it seemed this might be the right attachment for my model machine. Took a chance, it was. Just used it to seal up 5lbs of coffee, worked perfectly! (All wide mouth jars) Unclear if they're going to remain sealed of course, but at the moment I can lift the jars by the lip of the lid and they hold without issue. Sweet!!

I was so excited to buy this product!! I couldn’t wait for it to arrive! It was so easy to use with my vacuum sealer machine! Now I have several vacuum sealed jars of flour, oats, and pastas in my pantry! One thing I suggest is putting a cupcake liner at the top of whatever you’re sealing so the flour or whatever you seal doesn’t clog the hose! Also, took me a second to figure out why my jars weren’t sealing until I realized I was trying to seal with the rings on my jars 😂. So make sure your rings are off before you apply the jar sealer.
