Cloud Native Architectures

This is a great book for anyone who is thinking of building/migrating any applications or solutions to hyper-scale cloud. It clearly explains what the design principles and core tenets of "cloud native" architectures are, and provides real world case-studies of how organizations are transforming with the cloud. It also provides ton of great information on optimizing costs, maximizing security and leveraging various cloud native services to make your architecture very robust.

I won't waste too much word to describe this book. If you are or want to be knowledgeable in the cloud world, either for professional or personal reasons, then this THE book to read. I found it extremely interesting and useful. Definitely a well done purchase.

Great textbook for those who would like to design, implement, and maintain cost-effective and efficient system for their business with easy to understand examples/illustrations and practical cases.

Great design principles. But needs improvement.

Bought this book to learn to understand various architectures in the cloud, trade offs, uses... This book is a general over view of the cloud for someone that doesn't know anything about cloud. 3/4ths of it is that. Then at the end, they go specific on what each cloud vendor offers for products and services. At a very high level they spend a paragraph on each service and almost nothing on how you'd architect various applications for the cloud. You can watch all the AWS Certification videos at the associate level and read their PDFs for free and not have to buy this book. Where, I'm already certified for that, I was looking at this book to bring me to the next level as it said "Architectures" in the title. Zero Depth here. Udemy has a good hands on class for Serverless Lambda in Python for $15, spend your money on that. I'll be using this book to start the back yard fire pit one night this summer.
