Summer Brain Quest: Between Grades 5 & 6

Very good for the kids to keep their head in the books and progress during school.

Definitely recommend to help your child not loose some of the knowledge she learned the previous year. Recommend to purchase one for each summer with the grade appropriate grade.

I don't really have anything I dislike about brainquest workbooks. I find them to be very helpful, quick, easy (-ish, depending on kiddo), and nicely illustrated. We especially love that it has a map with stickers to show kiddos accomplishments and how much is left to do. At the end kiddo receives a reward and we celebrate the finish. It keeps her from sliding during the summer or other vacations and has very easy to read guidance. Parents can easily follow the directions to help guide kiddos and the answer key is available too for a quick check. Love love love the Summer books especially and wish they had them for higher grade levels. This is a worthwhile investment for your kiddo and I strongly recommend to anyone wanting to ensure a rich education and keep kiddos sharp!

We homeschool, but it's important to me that they learn the same things as their peers in case they ever need to enroll in public school, so we use these every summer to fill in any gaps and make sure they are on pace with other kids their age. Most of the time these end up just being a fun review, but there have been a few things that have been new to them. The themes are engaging and keep it fun, and I really love the outdoor adventures they are encouraged to complete. They all love using the stickers to mark their progress and design their own scenes. They rarely complain about doing school work, but they never complain about these books.

Great workbook that is filled with exercises that are engaging and challenging. The workbook map with stickers helps my kids to stay focused and want to achieve completing everything. I highly recommend.

My son is in the top 2, 6, and 8% in his reading, science, and math EOG scores in our state but is learning from this book! He usually finds these (there are three main publishers) type of books easy breezy busy work but I am glad to see he is having to look things up and think and learn! If your child needs to catch up, this might not be the best book, but if your child is an A/upper 4-5 EOG student, this will be perfect!

My kids love these. This is the second summer of these books. After the first Summer my children asked to do these again this year. The books are set up nicely and walk the kiddos through different lessons with easy explanations. The books work through many subjects and has a fun sticker trail for completion of the lessons! I will continue to use these books through the highest grade level available.
