Buttermilk Pancake Mix, New Hope Mills, 2-Pounds (3)

These pancakes are much too salty. I read many reviews raving about how good they were. I've now made them three times and find that they have a very strong baking soda taste, and a very salty taste. In order to make them palatable I've had to add a few tablespoons of sugar to the pancake mix. I've also had to add some chocolate chips to try to mask the baking soda taste when cooking them. I do not recommend this product it is highly over-salted and tastes like it has too much baking soda.

I’m not going to say the pancakes are magical. I want to, but I’m not....We first had them at a cousin’s house in upstate NY. We’re not huge pancake people but we loved the taste and texture: thin, light, ever so slightly crisp, with the perfect taste.So we hunted down the mix on Amazon and now we make our own amazing pancakes here on the west coast. The mix is a bit pricey compared to the grocery store - but much cheaper than airfare to NY.

Bought this at our local store. It was then discontinued so I found it on Amazon which is where I buy it now.This mix is the closest thing to "homemade". I have used for waffles, pancakes and never has it failed. I have received compliments on my waffles and when I told people it was this mix all were surprised. I have followed the directions on package as well as varied; used milk, buttermilk, butter whatever. Always delicious, always works

This makes great waffles and pancakes. The best I’ve ever tasted. I have bought this at a specialty store in Charleston, SC, but I live about 2 hours away. I was so happy to find that Amazon carried it. The price on Amazon is only slightly higher than at the store in Charleston, but I save by not having the transportation costs.

Best pancakes. We always make pancakes using New Hope Mills. When we have company in our home. Breakfast is pancakes and bacon. Everyone compliments my hubby on the delicious pancakes. We take photos of our pancake breakfast and sent to friends that have eaten the pancakes in our home and they always wish they were sitting at our table to enjoy.New Hope Mills has their own restaurant and they serve pancakes.

New Hope Mills Buttermilk pancake mix is the BEST. One taste and you'll agree. Thanks to Amazon and its Sellers, you don't have to live in Upstate New York to buy this great product. Highly recommended.

From a pancake lover - I have found New Hope to be the best. No need to add milk or eggs but I do.I also add about 2 tablespoons of full fat ricotta cheese and juice of a good size lemon.NEVER use pancake syrup only 100%pure maple syrup.

I’ve made one whole package of pancakes before writing this review and I love this pancake mix. They’re seriously amazing pancakes, I’ll definitely be buying more of this exact mix once I run out. Two cups of the mix with 1 3/4cup water with an egg and some melted butter is the way to do it. That made enough for me and my sister and dad for breakfast.
