It's my fault I didn't pay attention to dosage. Figured out this was giving me DAILY horrible headaches. Here's what I found on WebMD:"For menopausal symptoms, the dose of black cohosh used in studies has been 20-40 milligram tablets of a standardized extract taken twice a day. More than 900 milligrams a day of black cohosh is considered an overdose. Directions for taking black cohosh in other forms will vary. Some experts say that no one should take black cohosh for more than six months at a time."I've since switched to Estroven, which contain 40mg of black cohosh and my headaches have stopped while my menopausal symptoms have gone down. 540mg may not be too much for you, but keep it in mind when trying this product out!

My biggest recommendation for this product is that it has brought my skin back to normal. Hormonal changes were wreaking havoc on my skin (the rest of the symptoms haven't been too bad, yet.) After 2-3 weeks of taking Black Cohosh every day, my face has stopped breaking out and its general appearance has improved greatly.

Menopause is enough of a hassle, but this 540 Mg is so very much a great life-saver in terms of keeping me away from sweats and internal heat - ladies who have gone through menopause know of which I speak - anything less (at least for me) than this amount of Mg really makes no difference to one's comfort. This is the best Black Cohosh, it does exactly what my doctor said it would. I ran out of this brand and tried another brand, only to find out it did not work at all. I realized my huge mistake of trying another brand, quickly ordered this and two weeks after taking it, relief. I will not make that mistake again and would recommend Sundown Black Cohosh over any other.

I have been using this product and brand for years as a replacement for prescription estrogen. I purchased it from Amazon because it was cheaper. The price of the product is not relative to its effectiveness. It has helped tremendously with hot flashes, jitters and other hormonal issues associated with menopause. I do NOT think it helps the weight gain, forgetfulness or the loss of skin elasticity.

This product was recommended to me by several friends. I am very hot natured and always sweating. Within a couple days I could tell a big difference and actually felt better. It's nice knowing my clothes won't be wet from sweating all day especially since the summer is starting and warmer temperatures are here.

It is a good product at a good price and great for post menopausal issues. You do need to get it into your system for about a month before you start to see results... and even then you may not appreciate the change until you forget to take it a few days... my experience :( So take it and reap the benefits.
