So easy to assemble. Easy to make larger or smaller. This size was perfect for our growing puppy. We used our own indoors and outside. Our dog grew to about 3 feet tall and 50 pounds and the 8 panel pen always offered enough space for him. The pieces are very sturdy. One post did bend a little when I tried to anchor it in the ground and it hit a hard spot, but not bad enough that it couldn’t be used. It is lightweight enough to carry in a stack but not flimsy at all. I think it looks great too. The black metal has never chipped or rusted. We’ve owned this item for about 18 months now & still just as nice as the day it arrived. Super functional, easy to transport.

Bought 3 units with 48 panels for the front yard, all 32" tall.Pros:* Light in weight, strong 27x32" panels.* Easy to put up, my daughter & I fenced in a huge dog run in about 1 hr, after a rain storm (stakes went in easily on wet ground).* Easy to pull up stakes and move 3 sections as a unit, for mowing around the yard. That alone was important to us, being able to move it around, clean up the yard, change the size & location and still have a strong fence.* Medium size dogs can't jump over it, just tall enough.* We *want* to keep the dogs in the house, and OUT of the kitchen & bedroom, so we took one panel anchored it to the door frame with the optional anchor kit, just a little it up off the floor - works perfect. Door is open, and dogs stay out of the areas we don't want them in.* Looks great in the front yard, and adjusts to ANY yard shape, you choose.* Cheaper than permanent fencing, much less labor involved.* Gates swing wide open, even a bigger dog can easily walk through them.* Solid enough, a medium size dog doesn't knock the fence over by jumping up on it.Cons:* push the stakes into the ground, until they bottom out on the two panels. If your dog gets one of those stakes through it's collar, it could strangle them - cause they ain't coming off without you picking up your dog and lifting them off!* will NOT fold flat, and if it did, you have difficulty picking it up! The weigh adds up, 3 panels is enough. If it must be flat, just pull all the stakes (no biggie) and they'll lay flat on top of each other.My one concern is potential of rust - which I have not seen yet. It's rained here the last couple of weeks, still no signs of rust.Can a dog OPEN a gate...? Not if you put the latch on the outside, but, if turned around, yep, so start your pen with the gate(s), opening the direction you want, preferably OUT, and work from there.For us, we think it was well worth the $1500 for a big yard fence we can move, mow around, and enclose a big tree, open area, kiddle wading pool - right up to the house - the dogs can get a really good run across this huge "L" shaped area.

This is GREAT, For a very tiny, puppy!! The, quality is great!! So, very easy to assemble. VERY, sturdy!! Can't anchor it on my Artificial turf, but, no problem!! It's sturdy, for my tiny, mini pup! Very, wonderful product.

PROs: Rugged construction yet very portable; easy to assemble; separate panels makes it configurable in a variety of shapes and positions; panels can be purchased/added/removed to fit your spaceCONs: Mufflers really should be provided, not an add-on purchase; would be nice to also have available in white like the HomePlusLooking for a solution for a small elderly dog with mobility and vision issues, I needed something to help contain her to an area without crating her. Enter the FXW playpen. This is a solid and well made product. Each panel has two anchor points that align with the other panel's opposite side. Once aligned, you slide the stake through the four anchor points and then arrange in whatever way you need. This makes it very easy to adjust and move around.The metal construction makes it somewhat heavy, but that's what you want in something like this. Stronger dogs might end up bending the smaller bars of each individual panel, so that is something to consider. In my case, our dog is small and can't really damage the fencing. We did purchase the additional stake floor protectors and the mufflers (the mufflers are highly recommended and honestly I think they should just be included or built into the panels).Additional panels can be purchased, including another door panel, to make this highly customizable for what you need in the space you have. I installed this under a table to save room, and thanks to the independent panel construction, I can pull one of the stakes and swing the side open to access food and water bowls and reach for the dog when she gets lost. And on nice weather days, I can move the entire thing outside into the yard and let her get some warm sun without worrying about keeping her from wandering blindly into dangerous areas.Be aware that you will likely need to purchase some of the add-on pieces, so you may want to find a bundle package, or you can order them separately as needed.Thank you FXW, this has made my parents' lives much more manageable.Note: I purchased this not knowing there was a HomePlus version which would have been more suitable for my purposes. However, I prefer this one in part because the door panel is a single lock compared to the dual lock of the HomePlus. I ordered HomePlus stakes to swap out because they are flush with the top of the fencing.
